Phuntsok Choeling Hawkes Bay Buddhist Centre based in Napier follows the Mahayana and Vajrayana teachings of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. The Centre’s Spiritual Director, Lama Choedak Rinpoche resides in Australia and regularly visits for retreats and public talks. We are open to all who wish to learn more about Buddhism, meditation, join us for spiritual practices or simply come and expe

rience the atmosphere of peace and harmony that our beautiful space provides. We share Tibetan Buddhist teachings about developing compassion and kindness toward others, as well as cultivating our innate potential for sanity and goodness through the practice of meditation. Phuntsok Choeling is a registered Charitable Trust and has an Executive Committee and a number of volunteers who help support the running and management of the centre.
