Are we fulfilling the Mission, or are we just running a Marketing campaign? ✝️

It’s time for us as the Church to take an honest look at how we present ourselves to the world and our local community. Are our church promotions genuinely reaching the lost, or are we just transferring Christians from one congregation to another?

When we focus on Mission, Jesus remains at the center. The target is the lost, and the goal is salvation.

When we shift into Marketing, the focus subtly turns to our facilities, production, worship style, or speaker lineup—and Jesus gets pushed backstage. The goal slips toward growing membership numbers and building a reputation, often at the expense of smaller local churches.

Jesus gave us a Great Commission, not a marketing strategy. Growth should mean lives transformed by the Gospel, not just seats filled from down the street.

Let’s re-align our hearts with the True Builder of the Church. Are we fishing for the lost, or are we just swapping fish from another boat?
