BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO MOURN ❤️

This morning we heard a powerful testimony from a wahine toa — Karen! Thank you for sharing so openly & vulnerably with us about your grief journey e hoa. Church, we pray that her testimony spoke to your spirit.

We know that grief, loss, mourning & the like can, at times, feel all-consuming but we do believe the second part of the beatitude in which it says "for they will be comforted". Whatever your journey with grief has looked like, would you allow the Holy Spirit to comfort you in a way that only He can. Would you begin to feel His comfort settle upon you like a korowai/cloak of comfort 🤍

Matthew 5:4 — BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO MOURN, FOR THEY WILL BE COMFORTED

We will forever be marked by what the Holy Spirit did in our Church yesterday. It was a line in the sand for our Church

Thank you Ps Fred Porter for hearing from the Lord & bringing what you did — we will never be the same again ❤️‍🔥

Church, our prayer is that what the Holy Spirit did in you would spill into your everyday lives! Our prayer is that this wouldn't just be a one-off Sunday, but that it would set a new precedent for our Church! Our prayer is that we'd be alive & awake to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us & walking in obedience to that! Our prayer is COME HOLY SPIRIT 🕊️
