Heart of David Ministries

Heart of David Ministries Igniting a generation with the heart of God The Bible says David was a man after God's own heart. Above all else David loved God's presence.

When men looked at David they saw an insignificant shepherd boy. When God looked at him He saw a man anointed as a worshipper, a warrior, a poet, a musician, an intercessor, a defender of widows and the fatherless, and a king who would rule with the heart of a shepherd. It is our vision to see a whole generation of Davids, both men and women, called forth in like manner.

Have you ever felt out of control? Grace is the answer—not a mamby-pamby grace, but a supernatural provision that empowers every aspect of your life. While the Rapture is a single-moment transformation, grace-infused living is continual, moment-by-moment transformation. Grace describes the full provision God has for you—and it's available right now! Knowing this here-and-now provision makes a profound difference because knowledge leads to expectancy, and expectancy leads to manifestation. Grace is the empowering presence of God, enabling you to be who God created you to be and do what God called you to do. Grace makes the Christian life truly transformative.

Maybe your heart is screaming: "I am powerless!" "I am unloved!" and "I can't cope!"

But 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear—He has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control.

No matter how overwhelmed you feel right now, God has a provision for you. You don't have to live at the mercy of your feelings. Through His Spirit, you can boldly declare: "I am empowered!" "I am loved!" and "I am in control!"

Maybe your heart is screaming: "I am powerless!" "I am unloved!" an...

There is something bigger than positive thinking—much bigger. It's called grace. Grace is a big word. It describes a lavish supernatural provision that comes directly from God. A grace-filled life is an empowered life that overflows with God's generosity—and it's the best way to live.

Have you believed the lie about God's sovereignty that leads to spiritual passivity? It's a huge deception, and it robs too many of God's people from living full and fulfilled lives. God's sovereignty always leads to empowered lives, not passive ones. Once you break free from the deception, you will never look back. It's time to step up and really start living!

You’ve been backed into a corner by intimidation. Now what? There is a way out—but it requires a serious dose of attitude. Most of us have been reprimanded for having "too much attitude," but what if God actually wants you to turn it up? You might be surprised to hear Him say, "Permission granted!"

You’ve been backed into a corner by intimidation. Now what? There ...

Intimidation muzzles you—you can't say the things you need to say.

Intimidation paralyzes you—you can't take the actions you need to take.

Intimidation imprisons you—you end up trapped in a stalemate or gridlock; you can't go backwards or forwards.

Intimidation lies to you—it tries to defeat you by destroying your belief in yourself.

Intimidation's muzzle is designed to silence you. It’s time to rip off the muzzle, find your voice, and start living!

Four questions that can help identify the forces of intimidation controlling you:

1. What do I need to say, but can't say?
2. What do I need to do, but can't do?
3. What are the stalemate or gridlock situations in my life that need to change?
4. What are the lies that I have believed about myself?

There is a reflecting pool before the throne of God called the sea of glass. It reflects everything that God is and everything that His rule represents.

Sometimes events in the natural world form prophetic pictures that reveal greater spiritual realities. This is true of the recent events surrounding the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. The 619-meter-long pool, built in 1922, is situated between the Washington Monument and the Li...

Are you feeling paralyzed by a "giant" that seems too big to handle? Whether it's a person, a situation, or a spirit of fear, the face of intimidation always looks the same: it projects an image of superior equipment, assistance, backing and skill. It aims to make you feel small and muzzled. True defiance isn't the absence of fear; it’s the choice to run toward the intimidation—even though your body is trembling and your voice is shaking.

Here's what you’ll learn:

* How to recognize the defiant face of intimidation.
* Why your "sling and stone" (the unique skills your life has already prepared you with) are more powerful than the enemy’s superior equipment.
* The secret to turning the battlefield around and defeating the giant with its own sword.

Stop cowering and start living the life you were meant to live. It’s time to look your "Goliath" eyeball-to-eyeball and intimidate the intimidation.

Are you feeling paralyzed by a "giant" that seems too big to handle...

The Father's voice awakens dimensions of covenant, desire, and intimacy that go beyond anything we can express in earthly terms.

When Mark wrote his gospel, he framed Jesus' mission carefully and deliberately. The mission was planned, prophesied, and prepared. To be more specific, the Father planned it, Isaiah prophesied it, and John the Baptist prepared the way.

Here's How to Overcome Intimidation:

1. Win the Perception Battle: The way you perceive a situation determines your response. A changed perspective will lead to a changed outcome.

Here's a simple prayer you can pray right now: "God, how do you want me to see this situation?"

2. Face the Intimidation Directly: When intimidation stands between you and destiny, the only way to confront it is directly.

Here's a simple prayer you can pray right now: "Give me courage to run towards the intimidation rather than away from it."

3. Realize What You Have: David defeated Goliath with a sling and a stone. God uses what you already have to defeat the giants of intimidation that control your life.

Here's a simple prayer you can pray right now: "Show me what I have that I don't see."
