Last night we celebrated Trinity Sunday with a meal followed by evening worship and we capped it all off with a time of fellowship and delicious treats. A huge thanks to our vicar and friends for journeying from Dargaville to join us and to the members of vestry who organised everything. See you all next week at St Marks in Paparoa.

It was a very interactive with people sharing and chatting.

We looked at Proverbs 31 which actual is an Ascrostic using the Hebrew alphabet. So we kind of did the same using Bananagram letters and made words to describe our mother’s and or motherly figures in our lives.

We also wrote notes on a board expressing thoughts, experiences etc
Lastly we painted cupcakes and roses.

So a very thoughtful, interactive morning

Rev Kim’s first communion Service at St Alban’s, Whakapirau on Sunday May 3rd.

The call to worship began as the bells rang out through the community.
There was a warm buzz with so many worshipping and our voices filled the church as we sung with an organ, piano and guitar. Kim shared a great message from John’s Gospel.

It is wonderful to have our New Vicar meet the community of Whakapirau.

Next service at St Albans is 17th May. SAVE THE DATE.

For those who wish to worship in the Anglican tradition, we meet tomorrow in the beautiful, historic church of St Albans at whakapirau. Our Vicar the Rev'd Kim Parker is leading this communion service and we begin at 10.00 am. The service is followed by a time of fellowship over a cuppa and morning tea. All are welcome, come and see.

Great time had by all!
We even continued painting after the Sunday service the next day.
