HCC's Lenten Reflections are happening every Wednesday, starting on the 18th of February (Ash Wednesday) until Easter. It is a time to reflect on the meaning of Easter and there is also an opportunity for coffee and conversation from 7.30pm.

Kia ora Māpua Community & Happy New Year!

We are excited to offer Kids Club afterschool program again as we come into 2026. This is such a wonderful opportunity for local grandparents to spend time with local tamariki and pass on knowledge in arts & crafts, drawing, painting, knitting, music, cooking & more. Our team of local volunteers are all police vetted; reference checked and have undertaken a child safety program so that we are equipped to offer this safe fun intergenerational space for your kids!
While we are a faith-based organisation, this is not a space for religious education but rather for life-giving local relationship and support.
We begin with an open day Thursday February 12th 2.45 – 5pm. Feel free to come and check out our program with your kids. For our Kids Club families, this will be a normal club afternoon with walking bus from Māpua School as usual.
All are welcome to a free Sausage Sizzle at the end of the day!

Kids Club 2026 will run Thursdays 2.45 – 5pm term times.
