Greetings in Jesus’ name.



We might respond to the impossible in different ways. Perhaps in awe and wonder or even humour. Maybe because the impossible is beyond our expectations, beyond our current reality. Our midweek devotional looks at this regarding a woman named Sarah who laughed when told she would have a child in her old age. She could see the funny side of something beyond her reality. And God’s response? “Is anything too wonderful for the Lord?” Like Sarah, we are encouraged to trust ourself and our future to God in whom all things are possible. New Strength & Balance Classes 1pm -2pm Wednesdays Mairangi Bay Presbyterian Church Hall, 8F Penzance Road.
Run by Danae these classes will include a combination of resistance band exercises, dumbbell work, and bodyweight movements, all designed to help improve strength, balance, mobility, and confidence in a supportive environment.

Messy Church Service – Sunday May 31st at 10am

The 10am Church Service on Sunday 31 May will be different.
The service will be suited for all ages and hosted in the hall sitting around tables.
There will be: morning tea, a getting to know you session, and discussion of the Parables of Jesus.

It will be suitable for those who are not used to church services. So please invite people and families along to see what it is like. We want to make sure they feel welcomed to this special service.

Come and join us on a day trip to Tiritiri Matangi, our wonderful island of endangered birds and invertebrates.
Friday, April 17th during the school holidays.
We can get a group discount of 10% for 10 or more people. Gold Card holders can get 20% off the regular price but this cannot be included in the group booking. The regular prices are $120 for adults and $57.50 for children 5 – 15 years including the guided walk.

News from the Middle East is mostly about conflict, suffering, and death. Yet, our midweek devotional focuses on life and what we need to not only survive, but also to thrive. Jesus’s conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well parallels the necessity of water for our flourishing to the need for God in one’s life. To be truly alive is more than just eating, drinking, and resting. It includes living or experiencing God as the source and sustainer of all life. Next time you take a drink of water, think about taking in something of God to nourish your faith.
