🪧 Reflecting on the rich heritage of our faith traditions, it's inspiring to note that both Judaism and Christianity have been beacons of progress for women's rights since their inception.

✡️ Judaism acknowledged women's autonomy, granting them the right to own property and safeguarding their welfare through the Mosaic law.

✝️ Christianity further advanced their status; it is noteworthy that Jesus revealed Himself post-resurrection first to women, despite the societal norms of the era.

📖 The New Testament and Paul's epistles frequently acknowledge women's significant roles.

📜 Indeed, the women of the Bible stand as some of the most pivotal figures in history, shaping the course of our spiritual lineage.

“Even when you are old, I will be the same; even when you have gray hair, I will take care of you. I made you and I will support you; I will carry you and I will rescue you.”

Age and time may bring challenges, but God's promises are timeless. 🕰💫 From our very first breath to our last, His love and care are unwavering. 💖🙌 He made us, knows our every moment, and promises to carry us through life's trials. 👣🌈 Even when our hairs turn gray and our steps become slow, He is there, sustaining and rescuing. 🌌🙏
Find comfort in knowing that we are never alone on this journey. 🛤🤝 God's got us, always. 🌟✨

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.” Matthew 28:6 ✝️

Today, we celebrate the most triumphant event in history – the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 🙌

It’s in these words that we find the very essence of the gospel. 📜
Jesus, the Son of God, conquered death itself, shattering the chains of sin and darkness forever. ⛓️‍💥
His resurrection is the ultimate proof of His divinity, the fulfillment of every promise, and the guarantee of our own eternal life. 🕊

The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive and at work within us, 💥 empowering us to face every trial with unshakable hope and courage. The empty tomb is our assurance that in Christ, every grave becomes a garden, 🌱

every ending becomes a new beginning, 🌄

and every darkness gives way to the light of resurrection life. 🌟

Because He lives, we too can live - not just eternally, but abundantly, joyfully, and purposefully. 🫂 For He is risen indeed, and because He lives, everything has changed. 🙏

1 Corinthians 9:22, "To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some."

🤙 Paul became all things to all people so he could spread the good word and save some souls? 🙌 He didn't change his message, but he was happy to change his style to connect with people from different backgrounds. When he was with the Jews, he acted like a Jew, and when he was with the Gentiles, he acted like a Gentile. 🕺 His goal was to find common ground with everyone so he could build relationships and share the love of Jesus. 🙏

Let's take a leaf out of Paul's book and be flexible and adaptable in our approach to sharing the gospel with those around us. Kia kaha! 💪

👋 Have you read Acts 4? 📖🤔 If not, you're missing out! Here are a few notes to get you started:
🙌 Peter and John through Jesus heal a lame man and get arrested. But that doesn’t stop them!
🕊️ They were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke boldly to the rulers and elders. 🔥
🔨 The religious leaders were amazed by their courage and couldn't deny the miracle they had witnessed. 🤯
💪 Despite the threats and persecution, Peter and John continued to preach about Jesus and many people believed! 🙏
So what are you waiting for? Grab your Bible and read Acts 4 for yourself! It's a wild ride full of faith, courage, and the power of the Holy Spirit! 🌟 🙏

Hey everyone! We will be open for church services tomorrow at 10AM, start about 10:15AM. There will be adult classes after service as well as teen classes. Due to the community house closed to us during level 2 we will have teachers taking the younger children over to the library side to look at/read books.

Hello everyone! We hope you've been well.

This Sunday we WILL be meeting at the Petone Library community room at 10:00AM. We will have service then class.

Please bring a mask for use getting into and out of the library. Masks are greatly encouraged inside the room where we will be meeting, but are not required by the library.

We will be following level 2 guidelines. Please be patient with us as we all learn these new ways. 🙂 see you there!
