We are walking through a season with our life groups exploring how we can share the gospel, starting with our own personal stories. We’re being reminded that every single one of us has a unique journey, and every story has the power to impact someone else. Together, we are learning how to beautifully link our individual stories to the bigger story of salvation—Jesus’ story.

Our Big Group sessions are bringing all of our life groups together for encouragement, while also serving as a live demonstration for our Life Group Leaders on how they can facilitate their own sessions.

Leading a local church, we recognise the reality of clashing schedules, family commitments, and busy lives when it comes to leadership training. Because of that, we are always looking to maximise what we are already doing. Simple, intentional, and together.

Treasures in a Mother’s Heart
O oloa taua ua teu ile loto ole Tina

Luke 2:51 - Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart.

We had a great time celebrating and honouring our mothers this past Sunday and like all Sundays, it was an opportunity to hear His word. Ivy delivered a beautiful and impactful message on the the story of Joseph, Mary and Jesus going to celebrate the Passover and then later losing track of where Jesus was. When Joseph and Mary finally find Jesus He responds “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?" Not your typical 12 year old response - but this wasn't a typical child, it was Jesus after all.

Here are some of my reflections from the message that was shared:
• We need to prioritise what's important (often the harder option)! the annual journey from Nazareth to Jerusalem was long and hard..but a priority to Mary and Joseph
• The pursuit of Jesus is an ACTIVE one - Dont just look for Jesus when you're lost or desperate for help, pursue Him everyday!
• Want to learn more? SIT at the feet Jesus, LISTEN to Jesus through His word, ASK Jesus in prayer and petition
• Have you lost track of Jesus? How long will you wait, before your start looking for Him?
• The greatest desire in a mothers heart (and all parents) is that her children would find the greatest treasure of all… Jesus!

And last but not least.. don't forget your children at church - it's amazing how often this happens (you know who you are 😆)

Praise God for the gift of His word - Tell Somebody, Love Somebody, Lead Somebody 🙏💙✝️

This is an invitation to those who have never heard the Good News, and to those who need to hear it again.

The Good News is simply introducing you to Jesus Christ. There are no hidden messages and no hype—we just want to share why we believe that through Jesus, we find hope, freedom, and new life.

Following Him doesn't mean life is always smooth sailing or "coming up roses," but it does mean you never have to carry your load alone.

🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2026 IS HERE 🤩🕊️

Though we are apart today, let's start this new year strong with the encouraging word from our Vision Sunday message! This message powerfully sets the tone for our 2026 focus: "Send Me" (Romans 10).

In this message, we are reminded that God's mission is for all of us, and our answer to the call should be: "I am willing, I am ready, and I am able".

As we begin 2026, let's remember that you as followers of Christ you are already equipped to be sent! Your mission field isn't overseas, it's right where you are: your family, your friendships, your workplace, and your community.

Let's dedicate this year to reflecting Christ so that we can Tell somebody, Love somebody, and Lead somebody to Jesus.

May your feet be beautiful this year as you bring the good news!
Begin with your personal worship and prayer and then watch the full Vision Sunday message and be encouraged:

🌻 AN ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOU TODAY

We may not be together in person today, but the Word of God is never limited! Take a moment to receive this encouraging message on God's Design for the Household.

In this sermon, Pastor Daniel reminds us from Ephesians 2:19 that when we come to Christ, we are no longer strangers or foreigners, but fellow citizens—we are now members of God's Household—His family [07:08].

As God's family, we are called to have a "point of difference" from the world. This difference is shown in how we live out our faith and our core values.

This message connects powerfully with our 2026 focus, "Send Me" (Romans 10)! One of the most important values we hold as a family of Christ is that we exist to serve others [35:41]. We are called to be the hands and feets of Christ to show His love to the world [38:21].

Start your time with God by singing a worship song or two and prayer. Let this message equip you to not only feel that you belong, but to go out and live as a faithful, serving member of God's family this week!

🌻Back in October, we dedicated our Children’s Day service to celebrating the youngest members of our church family. Instead of offering my own reflection, I wanted to give one of our kids the opportunity to share their perspective!

🙋🏽‍♀️So, I reached out to 11-year-old Talei (via her mum) and asked if she would write a piece for the blog about her faith journey and what being a part of our church community really means to her.
