God is the only One who took interest in you, to save you. Imagine if God didn't implement the plan of salvation. No one else will care to come and save you. We would all be left to destroy each other.

Jesus became man, to suffer and taste death, so He could defeat the powers of evil, and conqueror death in its own arena. Jesus suffered, was tempted beyond what we experience, and now He is able to aid and help all who face temptation. He truly understands our struggles, and is merciful and faithful to help us be overcomer's. Your salvation O LORD is truly great, free and accessible, You did everything for us, You defeated the power of death, You crushed the devils power, and all that works against us, You were victorious, this is why O LORD, you can aid us, help us, and be merciful and faithful to continue to help us when we fall. Thank You LORD for doing all of Salvation for us, truly a great Salvation full and free to all who come to Him.

Why God are you mindful of man? Why do you try and grab our attention, with your word, with signs, and wonders, with miracles, and even giving us gifts of Your Holy Spirit. Why do you want to honour man, when we neglect You, and put you last on our list. Even through Your Son, He tasted death for all man. Why do you do so much for us? When we often turn our back on You O God. Because, "For God so loved the world." His love will do all He can to save us. Salvation is ours to gain, or lose. Let us not neglect so great a Salvation, God wants man, you and me to be with Him now, and in the world to come.

The word of God has a message which is so vastly neglected, little attention is given to its words of life. The carelessness of many Christians towards Gods word, the things we were taught, or heard, often slips away because, there is no earnest seeking for the things that pertain to eternal life. They slip on by, because we find no real treasure in them. They slip on by, because the word has grabbed our attention. These words of God remained in Jesus, none slipped by, this is why He was victorious, for He gave the more earnest heed to the words of His Father in heaven. So "let us give the more earnest heed to the things of which we have heard, or at anytime we should let them slip." The words of God are flowing by us each day, every moment, grab them, treasure them for in them they contain the entrance to eternal life.

Your kingdom is governed by righteousness! You remained, while everything else perishes. While You O Lord, came to a world of lawlessness, temptations, hatred against You, evil hurled Your way, You remained who You are. Lived on this earth with a noble dignity, more excellent character, yes Lord Jesus you maintained on earth Your kingdom's righteousness in the face of great lawlessness. So we who are sons and daughters of God, heirs to His kingdom, are to conduct ourselves with His righteousness, to represent His kingdom, with a nobler character in the face of lawlessness. Jesus didn't buckle under extreme pressure, He remained a representative of His kingdom, so let us represent our Saviour with a more excellent character, as we face undesirable situations, let us hold fast His righteousness. He will uphold us with the word of His power.

I cannot fully comprehend, but it is amazingly wonderful to try and grasp. "Upholding all things by the word of His power." Jesus in the brightness of His glory, the express image of God, upheld all that is divine and holy by the word of God. He purged our sins by the word of His power. By His word He created the worlds, to be visibly seen. So the word creates internally, or engraves in us the character of God, and it will be visibly seen through our actions. (same concept as creation). The word kept Jesus together, the word was engraved in Jesus and only holiness could survive in Him. So it is true with us, the word engraved in us, shapes us to be like Jesus. And the word in us, will one day allow us the privilege to sit with the Father. It is the word that upholds us, in it is the power of God.

(I still cannot fully comprehend this concept, words cannot fully express my morning devotion with God today, but its wonderfully powerful).

In these last days, God speaks to us through His Son. In the past it was through His prophets, but now He speaks to us through Jesus, at the right time in these last days. He is heir of all things, He also made the worlds. It seems Paul is taking us back to creation, when the word spoke into existence this world and universe, and is implying that the same word in past times that was spoke to the prophets, is the same word that created all things, and in fact the same word is speaking to us today. To create in us a new heart, in these last days. The word of God always had a message in time past, today His words speaks to you. Listen you have an eternal inheritance.

Often times someone does something wrong to us we hold grudges. But Paul's advice to Philemon, is to receive him, "not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother." We turned our back on God many times, but when we gave our life to Jesus, He accepts us. We become sons of God, lifting us up to an elevated position, Jesus made us kings and priests. We are sinners but when we give our lives to Christ, we are elevated to sons, and daughters, to royalty. So don't hold grudges when someone is sorry, be like Christ and elevate them as a brother in Christ, for their sins are forgive, so let us forgive also.

"When the kindness and love of God our Saviour appeared to all men" something changed. It was no longer about works of righteousness, but was now all about the love and kindness of God that leads to repentance. Once we experience Gods love, a change happens within us, a change of quality. How does this change happen, "He poured out on us abundantly" the Holy Spirit to wash away our filth, and bring about renewal, a changed life. Our works of righteousness is no longer about trying to please God, but it is what is happening inside of us. The change is natural because we are experiencing Gods love, kindness. This is why we are saved by grace, because He first loved us. So maintain your good works, because they are profitable. The love of God will change us, and we have the helper in abundance, His Holy Spirit to produce in us good works. Experience the love of God today, be careful it will change you.

Pray that the word of God may not be blasphemed by me or you. How can it be, "Gods name is blasphemed among the Gentiles, because of you." Too often we hear so called followers of God, living a life that is not godly. Why because the word of God is void in their life, the word has not penetrated the heart, the mind, and all that is in them. "They say they know God, but deny Him by their works." The grace of God brings salvation, salvation is not only for the world to come, but salvation is from our life of wrongs today. This is why Jesus "gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed, and purify for Himself His own special people zealous for good works." Gods special people don't deny Him, they honour Him by a transformed life. To blasphemy God is to live ungodly. Let the word of God transform you, it promises to do so.
