Following the Pastors’ Retreat weekend, the Invercargill CMFI family gathered for two evenings of fellowship with CMFI New Zealand leading Minister Reverend Mala and his dear wife, Radini Ma. They shared messages of encouragement and hope, inspiring strength, unity, and a renewed commitment to extending God's work in Invercargill. The community was grateful for the opportunity to spend these meaningful evenings together with families and leaders.

Join us this weekend from the 29th to the 31st of May for Reverend Mala’s Southland Visit, Pastor’s Retreat, and South Island Regional Combine — a special time of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal as we gather together with pastors, leaders, and churches from across the South Island.

Acts 16:25–26 shows one of Scripture’s clearest pictures of worship as spiritual warfare:
* “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God… and suddenly there was a great earthquake… and everyone’s chains were loosed.”
They didn’t deny the pain, the injustice, or the darkness of the prison. But they shifted their posture:
From pleading → to praising
From reacting → to rejoicing
From focusing on chains → to focusing on the Chain-Breaker
And heaven responded.
Sometimes God doesn’t wait until your circumstances change to release power. He waits until your focus shifts.

When you move from✨ “God, get me out”to✨

“God, You are worthy—right here, right now,”

your situation may not instantly change, but you do. And often, that’s when the “earthquake moments” happen—breakthroughs, peace, clarity, favor, and freedom in places you couldn’t force open through worry or striving

GENESIS 22: 1-18
* God test our faith to reveal it's depths
- Our Foundation is the word of God
- The level of our faith reflects the level we feed ourselves with the word of God and the type of heart the word was received. We need to receive the word of God with a humble heart
- When we take things lightly and do not change our attitude and actions towards it, it will eventually control us one day
* Set your priorities right
- We need to only prioritize our priority: focus on seeking and worship God before others
* Gods provisions are not limit to mans ideologies

Sometimes God puts you in a season where things don’t make sense. Your Job is to be still.

Being still" is interpreted as an act of faith and trust in God, a relinquishing of control to allow Him to work, and a powerful weapon for believers in their own battles.

Let this week be your week of being still and acknowledging who GOD is.
