What a great initiative from Community Link
Finally, a local food bank here in Hawea.
As with any of these things, let's make the most of it to ensure services like this can be in Hawea long term.

Community Link is launching a winter pop-up foodbank at the Lake Hāwea Community Centre to support local families facing cost-of-living pressures.

This Sunday @ Hawea Church - ALIVE & FREE

Join us as we discover the story of Jesus' friend Peter. Jesus invited Peter to 'come and have breakfast' next to the Lake, and the conversation changed the course of Peter's life and history since.

This Sunday - What is Peace?

Is it a tranquil, sunny day beside the lake?
Or is it a foundation that can weather any storm?

Join us this week, 10am at the Lake Hawea Community Centre, as we learn from the story of Lauren Windle (British journalist & author and who's writing have included topics such as addiction recovery and dating), as she shares how her faith provides a peace that sustains her in her most challenging days.

It's happening!

After years of planning and preparation, we at Hawea Church are excited to be getting a building off the ground!

With the help of our friends , things are taking shape here in Longview. Soon we'll be looking at a new church & community facility.

When do you feel like you are most ALIVE?

Beginning this Sunday @ Hawea Church, the Alive series explores the questions we all ask at times. Questions like, where can I find love? how do I enjoy peace? and what is my purpose?

Join us @ the Lake Hawea Community Centre, 10am each Sunday as we search for the answers to lifes big questions, and enjoy doing it together.

This week begins with the search for love, studying the story of Mary Magdalene from the bible. Kid's Church led by our awesome team, each week also.

What is it and how do we achieve it?

Join us at the Lake Hawea Community Centre, 10am, as we meet and take a look at an icon of NZ rugby, and how he says he achieved success in life.

Kid's church downstairs in The Cave - led by Neil & Claire this week, join us afterwards for a catchup and a coffee.
