Village Baptist

Village Baptist Come as you are. Be Transformed. Make a Difference. We believe that church should be a place that's open to all. You are welcome here.

It should be a place where positive transformation takes place. And it should be a place where people discover the good purpose God has for them. That's why our mission statement is: Come as you are.

Kia ora, and welcome to church!

This Sunday, we're beginning a new 11-week series exploring the Ten Words (aka the Ten Commandments). Through this series, we'll explore what it means to allow these words to form us and how they keep us in the freedom that God has brought us into.

This week, we're exploring the third word (Ex. 20:7) given at Mt Sinai. Here, we'll see the expansiveness of the instruction to not misuse the name of the Lord, and explore what it means for us.

Note: All our online services are 2-3 weeks delayed from when they took place in person.

Kia ora, and welcome to church!

This week are continuing our 5-week series exploring the book of Ecclesiastes.

Something that makes Christianity unique among world religions is that its central claim - that Jesus rose from the dead - is historically verifiable. So Ps. Cam and Annedien Looyenga are going to lean into this by exploring the evidence and significance of the resurrection in a candid conversation.
