God’s Remedy For Fearing the Future, Part 2

Today, Pastor Dalton Walker concludes the series "Remedies" with the message "God's Remedy for Fearing the Future," part two, from Psalm 23:6. In this message, Pastor Walker reminds us that this life isn't the end of the story, and shows us how to know for certain we're headed to heaven.

This Psalm ends with David saying he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Pastor Walker points out that the valley isn't your address, heaven is, and one day every believer will be home with no more pain, sorrow, or fear. That confidence doesn't come from being good enough. It comes from trusting what Jesus already did, dying in our place and offering salvation as a gift, not something we earn.

If you've put your faith in Him, you can know without a doubt where you're headed.

Remember: Heaven isn't wishful thinking, it's a promise for everyone who trusts Jesus.

God’s Remedy For Fearing the Future, Part 1

This morning, Pastor Dalton Walker brings the final message in the series "Remedies" with the message "God's Remedy for Fearing the Future," part one, from Psalm 23:6. In this message, Pastor Walker shows us two reasons a believer never has to live in fear of what's coming.

David closes out this Psalm with total confidence, saying surely goodness and mercy will follow him all the days of his life. Pastor Walker reminds us that God's goodness doesn't mean only good things will happen to us, it means He'll always bring something good out of whatever we go through. And His mercy means we're never facing tomorrow alone; He's there to forgive, heal, and help us the moment we need it.

You don't have to live your life bracing for the worst. God is watching over you, and His grace is already working in you.

Remember: You're not facing your future alone, God's already there.

God’s Remedy For Hurts, Part 2

In this morning’s message from the series "Remedies of Hope" Pastor Dalton Walker brings part two of "God's Remedy for Hurts" from Psalm 23:5. In this message, Pastor Walker shows us that hurting is part of life and teaches us how to actually let it heal instead of burying it.

Most of us handle our hurts the wrong way. We ignore them, we run from them, we hide them, we worry over them, or we let them turn into resentment, and none of it actually heals anything. Pastor Walker points us instead to the picture David paints in Psalm 23:5, where God prepares a table for us right in front of our enemies, anoints our head with oil, and fills our cup until it overflows.

That's the pattern for healing. Let God settle the score instead of trying to get even yourself. Let Him soothe the wound instead of carrying it alone. And let Him satisfy you instead of expecting other people to fill needs only He can meet.

Remember: Give your hurt to the One who can actually heal it.

Psalm 23: Remedies of Hope – God’s Remedy For Dark Valleys, Part 2

In today's message, Part 2 of the message "God's Remedy for Dark Valleys" Pastor Dalton Walker continues the series "Remedies of Hope” with from Psalm 23. In this message, Pastor Walker has reminded us that everyone goes through dark valleys and shows us how to walk through them with God instead of falling apart in the middle of them.

Valleys are a fact of life. They come to every person, they come without warning, and they don't care whether you're a good person or a bad one. But Pastor Walker points out that valleys don't last forever, and God has a purpose behind every one He allows. The difference for a believer isn't that the shadow disappears, it's that the Shepherd is right there with you in it.

Pastor walks through three simple responses for when you're in a dark season: refuse to be discouraged, remember that God is with you, and rely on His rod and staff to protect and guide you.

Remember: The shadow can't hurt you, it just means there's a light nearby.

God’s Remedy For Dark Valleys

This morning Pastor Dalton Walker continues the series "Remedies of Hope” with Part 1 of the message "God's Remedy for Dark Valleys" from Psalm 23:1-6. Remedies of Hope: The Remedy For Indecision

This morning Pastor Dalton Walker continues the series "Remedies of Hope" with the message "God's Remedy for Indecision" from Psalm 23:3. In this message, Pastor Walker teaches us to let God guide us instead of trying to navigate life's decisions on our own.

Sheep are creatures of habit. Left on their own they wear the same paths into ruts and graze the same ground until it's ruined. They need a shepherd's direction, and so do we. Pastor Walker points out that we don't always want to admit we need a guide, but the first step toward peace is confessing, "God, I need help." From there he walks through asking God in faith, listening for His answer through His word, and trusting Him even when the path ahead looks like a dead end.

Indecision brings real stress, but God has a way through it if we'll let Him lead.

Remember: You don't have to see the whole path, just take the next step God shows you.

The Truthful Man_Grounded and Convicted

This morning Burt Odendaal brings the message The Truthful Man Grounded and Convicted from 2 Timothy 3. In this message, Burt challenges us to build our lives on the solid foundation of God’s Word instead of a divided one, by reminding us that a truthful man is grounded in Scripture, convicted by it, and steady because of it.

Before we can speak truth to others, God’s Word has to do its work in us first by cutting through the noise, correcting us, and settling what is real. In a world that calls evil good and good evil – there is no room for compromise. Just like Joshua said, “choose you this day whom ye will serve” and Elijah asked, “how long halt ye between two opinions”, the truthful man picks his side and stands on Christ alone.

Remember: A truthful man is grounded in the Word, convicted by the Word, and steady through the Word.

Psalm 23: Remedies of Hope – God's Remedy Damaged Emotions, Part 3

In today’s message, Pastor Dalton Walker concludes the message “God’s Remedy For Damaged Emotions” as he continues the powerful series "Psalm 23: Remedies of Hope." This message comes from verse 3 of Psalm 23, “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”

Pastor takes us back to how God formed man and breathed life into him. Even when struggles come and we feel weighed down, we don’t have to stay there. The same Shepherd who leads us beside still waters wants us to walk in the restoration He provides.

Because of what Christ has done, we can say what God says about us and trust Him with every part of our day.

Remember: Speak what God says, because He restoreth your soul and leadeth you in the paths of righteousness.
