Fathers Day at Hastings Elim.

Church is the most fun place to be. Family. Community. All the generations gathering together.

We are incredibly grateful for all the dads, grandads and father figures in our lives. Church is so much better with you all in it!

We will forever be thankful for our Heavenly Father. Our perfect Father, who promises to always be with us and loves us more than we can imagine. Our Father who offers us forgiveness, grace, compassion and mercy. All our worship and praise goes to Him alone. 🙌

This Sunday is going to be epic as we celebrate all the dads, grandads and father figures in our lives!

We'll see dads competing for the 'Father of the year' trophy.🏆
A panel of men will be sharing about their experiences as a Dad.
Our Voltage crew (intermediates) will be serving all the men a hot pie and soft drink for morning tea.

You don't want to miss church this Sunday! 🎉🎉🎉

Encounter nights are all about making time to come together united to spend time with God. All the generations, young and old, coming together to seek God, worship Him and pray. Our hearts fully surrendered to our Lord and Saviour. We don’t come with an agenda or a plan of how we want Him to move. We just come saying “have your way in us.”

International Sunday was such a beautiful celebration of all the different ethnicities represented at Hastings Elim Church.

We heard John 13:34-35 read in many different languages and Pastor Mark preached a life changing message based on what it means to love one another.

"So I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."
John 13:34-35 ❤️✝

May the love we have for one another continue to be a reflection of Jesus to the world around us.

Come and join us for International Sunday! 🌏

We're looking forward to celebrating the many cultures and ethnicities that make up our church family. Together we'll worship our one Saviour and give thanks for the richness and diversity of His Church.

If you'd like to, you're also welcome to wear traditional clothing or attire that reflects your culture or heritage.

After the service, stay for a potluck lunch. We'd love you to bring a dish that represents your culture or ethnicity to share with everyone.

Come and celebrate God's faithfulness, enjoy great food, and experience the joy of gathering as one family in Christ.
