Kia ora church whānau,
Because of the local state of emergency and the severe weather expected with Cyclone Vaianu, we have decided not to hold our church service tomorrow.
We do not make that call lightly, but we believe it is the right thing to do for the safety of our people and our wider community.
Connect Community Trust is activating its emergency plan this afternoon, and our focus now is on being prepared, staying connected, and responding wisely.
Please take care, stay home if you can, follow official Civil Defence advice, and check in on those around you, especially anyone who may be vulnerable, isolated, or anxious.
