On December 12, join us beneath the grand circus canopy where the lemonade sparkles brighter than the spotlight and the applause rings louder than the call of the ringmaster! Indulge in tasty treats, sip on spectacular drinks, and celebrate the showstoppers and high-flyers who’ve made this year truly unforgettable.

Bit of a change to the schedule everyone! Due to “The Father’s Heart” (by David McCracken) event in Auckland, we won’t be having Activate Youth on 1 November.
Keep an ear out in the gatherings and on the Activate socials for more details on this and how you may be able to come along!

We’re into the second week of holidays, which means that Activate Youth is starting back up next week!
Let your mates know, and get ready for another term of diving into Scripture and games. You guys seemed to enjoy the Team Championship so it’s back for another Term 🥉🥈🥇

Guess what team?!

After a break that feels all too long, we’re making moves to bring back Youth Band!! And we want you to be a part of it!

We are super grateful to have Enzo & Mia Bessa at the helm of this comeback. They are both so enthusiastic about how God can use the gifts He’s given us, and they have the full backing of myself, Luke Rodgers (Activate Creative Leader), and the rest of the Activate leadership team.

If you’re in high school (year 9-13) and want to be a part of leading Activate Youth in musical worship, get in touch with Luke ([email protected]) by Monday 16 September. After then, Luke will work with Enzo & Mia to assign audition times and will be in touch with you directly.

As there’s bound to be a lot of interest, you’ll need to register with Luke for the auditions held early afternoon on Sunday 22 September @ Activate Ruakura. You’ll need to learn three songs on your instrument of choice (keys, drums, vocals, etc.):

1. Praise by Elevation Worship,
2. Holy Forever by Chris Tomlin,
3. Any song of your choosing

The lyrics and chord sheets for Praise and Holy Forever can be found in this Dropbox folder https://tinyurl.com/YouthBandDropbox.

Each audition will time take roughly 30-minutes, plenty of time to go through each song with ongoing feedback throughout. For those who make it through, rehearsals will be every other Wednesday starting in Term 4.

We’re all so excited to be restarting our very own Youth Band, and can’t wait to add more praise & worship into Friday’s Activate Youth!!!

We are excited to celebrate the start of a new season with Adam Jones starting as our new Youth Leader!! 🎉
We are also excited to celebrate the end of a season by farewelling Jay Rodgers.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

We are so excited to welcome Adam Jones as the new Activate Youth Leader!

Adam will officially have his first event in the role on Friday 21st June where we will celebrate Adam stepping in and Jay stepping out. We believe that Adam will be an incredible leader for our Youth and that his leadership will have a positive and lasting impact.

Adam and Keeley are so excited to meet you all!!
