What a beautiful Mother’s Day we shared together on Sunday 💐

It was a special time celebrating and honouring all our mums and motherly figures — the women who have loved deeply, sacrificed quietly, prayed faithfully, and never gave up.

Thank you for your unconditional love, your strength, your wisdom, and for showing up again and again for your families and communities. We are better because of you.

At Elim, we’re all about family, and Sunday was a reminder of the joy, warmth, and belonging that comes from doing life together.

What stands out most in these photos is the heart of our community. You’ll see family, connection, and a real sense of belonging. People laughing, talking, worshipping, and simply doing life together.

This is a place where you can come as you are, where you’re not just another face in the crowd — you’re known.

What a great Sunday!

Even with the weather around us, we were grateful to safely gather for Super Sunday, celebrating our kids and worshipping and praying together. Such a powerful time.

Grateful for everyone who joined us in person and those who stayed home and stayed connected. One church, one family.

God is good — always!

Church Update – Sunday Services

Church is still happening tomorrow at 8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:30am.

As we remain mindful of the cyclone approaching, please use wisdom and do what feels safest for you and your whānau. If you choose to stay home, we fully support your decision. You can still be part of our time together as we’ll be live‑streaming the 10:00am service.

We are actively monitoring updates from government and council authorities, along with the latest weather reports. If anything changes or we need to adjust our plans, we will communicate clearly and promptly across all our social media platforms.

Please keep our North Island in your prayers as the cyclone draws near. Let’s continue to look out for one another, check in on people, and stay connected as a church community.
