God's Presence with Us
This morning we welcomed Martin Campbell (via video) who shared a great message. Some notes from that ...
We began with Exodus 33:4 (presence / rest) then an array of passages (some listed here): Genesis 2:7 (God's breath into humanity is what gives life); Genesis 3:7-9 (relationship & intimacy as God enters the garden); Isaiah 49:14-18' 43:1-7 (God's desire for relationship); Hosea 11:1-4 9 (feel God's cheek against yours).
We are an echo of the God's breath.
The heart of God echoing from the garden - calling us back to relationship - God wants to restore that relationship.
Get back to the garden.
Who needs to hear this good news? Look around you. Be an extension of God - invite them back to the garden.
Holy Spirit is the intimacy of God we can enjoy and he lives in us.

We sang 'In the Garden" (He walks with me and He talks with me) as our final song. It fitted so well.
