Today we remember Jesus ROSE FROM THE DEAD!! Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who makes us sons and daughters of God through faith. He came to forgive us and to give us abundant and eternal life.

What has Jesus promised to those who believe in him?
John 1:12
To all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
John 3:16-17
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
John 10:10
“My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
Colossians 1:11-14
We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.
Romans 8:11
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

If you believe Jesus paid the price on the cross for your sins and rose to life again, ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit into your heart, to teach you, guide you and empower you to be transformed into the person the Lord created you to be. Blessings Whanau, the Lord LOVES YOU!!! 🩵🙏🏼🌸

Happy Easter Whanau!!
The P**i o Matariki rebuild is coming along. We are a couple of months delayed due to removing asbestos from the whenua. The walls are going in then the roof goes on. A big THANK YOU to Merv Samuel for looking after the gardens and lawns at the Marae. You are a real blessing to our Marae Merv.

Update on the rebuild of P**i o Matariki. We had a karakia service, last night, before the floor was poured this morning. A Bible was placed in the foundations opened at Psalm 127:1
Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted.

Hāua-Werewere Combined Hāhi Service Postponed

Due to a serious illness affecting half of our organizers, we have with prayerful consideration made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming Hāua-Werewere Combined Hāhi Service.
During this time, we kindly ask that you keep the Maaka whanau in your prayers and trust in God’s healing and strength.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding, as we stand together in faith, we hold onto the promise of Scripture:
Isaiah 40:31: Te Reo Māori:
"Tena ko te hunga e tatari ana ki a Ihowa, ka whakahounga to ratou kaha; ka eke ratou ki runga, ki te mauiui ki o nga ekara; ka rere ratou, a e kore e ngenge; ka haere, a e kore e mauiui.".
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint".

Evening Hahi, over the last two weeks we have covered two topics; trapped by choice, and getting to know God better makes us better people. This week Tawhe is going to build on these two topics. We are meeting back at the Kohanga Reo opposite the police station at 10am on sunday 15th Feb, followed by Kaitahi Tatau. Have a blessed weekend even though it's raining. ☔️ 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Good morning wonderful Whanau! We are having Hahi back at Rukumoana Marae today, Sunday 7th Feb at 10am followed by Kaitahi Tatau. This weekend has been a significant weekend for our nation. Our forefathers had the insight to create a treaty which was based on unity. Unity is very important to our creator too, so much so he promised when we live in unity He will command a blessing. Psalm 133. We are unified with God through Jesus our Savour and Lord. Have an awesome long weekend. See those of you who can make it to Rukumoana today. Blessings. Kym and Paul.
