Sometimes, people do not realise how far they have drifted from God until they look back and see how much has changed. Prayer becomes less frequent, the Word of God becomes less of a priority, and other things begin to take His place.

The good news is that you can always decide to return. The Sunday of the Re-encounter will be an opportunity to put God first again and start afresh.

We will also partake of the Lord's Supper, a time to remember the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus and the covenant He established with us. It is an opportunity to examine our lives and renew our commitment to God.

Envy can become a doorway to conflict and disorder in families, friendships, relationships and at work.

📖 "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." — James 3:16

But when the presence of God surrounds us, no evil will be able to touch or harm us. His hands are mighty to protect us, so that no evil may come against us or our families.

Today we will combat the spirit of envy, and begin the new phase of the Point of Light, a chain of prayer to fight against the works of evil in our lives and seek God’s protection.

You can join the service at 7am, 10am, 12nn, 3pm & mainly at 7pm.

💧Water baptism represents the burial of one’s old self. It’s a decision to live according to the Word of God, sincere repentance for past mistakes, and a commitment to a transformed life.

When a person is immersed in the water, it is the burial of their old ways. As they emerge from the water, they are reborn into a new life with the Lord Jesus.

📖"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

🗓From August 23 to 30, we will have a special week dedicated to water baptism in preparation for the Sunday of The Reencounter.
