It's been approximately a year and a half since we were invited to start worship at the Gore Salvation army. It's been an amazing journey especially to see ordinary people develop into what we now call whanau. Many hands make light work, and through many prayers we see miracles happen. Praying that our Moko will continue all of his life to give thanks and praise to the Lord almighty

Not long ago in a previous post a friend shared a scripture with me

Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

I dont have a full download of scripture, I make mistakes all the time but I know God still loves me and He loves you to. Do you know that He loves you endlessly? from the womb to a child to adulthood? Through all your failures and dissapointments? He knows your worth. Turn your eyes upon Jesus

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

During a weekend of lots of worship, though this doesn't happen very often when I play music, I found myself being nervous, especially around a busking comp in a small town called Gore. A small part of me was worried about what people would think. How will they react to worship in a secular minded environment?
But I was reminded by a fellow Christian (that my mind already knew deep inside but was temporarily clouded)
'We worship and sing to an audience of ONE'

Keep your eyes on the Lord in all things brothers and sisters, we were able to place 2nd in the busking comp, worship in a public space. Glory to the King of Kings.

A normal Saturday/night for me USE to be spent in a pub some where or partying, fighting. But I knew deep inside something was missing? I am still on that journey of growth every day and I thank God that He was always there to pick up the pieces.

Do not be conformed to this world but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God
