The first pic is a reflection of my old sense of humour. Once upon a time it was how I really lived my life, angry, a disregard for authority, hateful towards people, myself, life and God.
During the weekend a sister in the faith 'Dorothy' shared the gospel to a young man who was heading to Alexandra, to an event called "the blossom festival" A man who admitted that he didn't feel worthy of God's love. By God's grace Dorothy was able to minister into his life. Once upon a time that was me, lost and broken with no sense of self worth.
Have you ever felt this way? How many people do we pass everyday that carry this burden, who feel alone?
If you believe in God's redeeming love, continue to pray and share the word to all corners of the earth. Don't be ashamed to speak the gospel, you never know what seeds God will sow so that people like myself will come to know the Lord
In the lowest point of my life the Lord's power was made perfect and brought me to my knees

Acts 3:19
"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that He will forgive your sins. Then times of refreshing may come from the Lord".

Many people have probably prayed over this area, Sterling point, Bluff.
Today was the day the Lord chose for Me, my wife and this special team from Auckland to also pray over it. If you weren't aware, the chain in the pic represents the anchor line of the demi god Maui. According to the plaque it was raised to symbolise a history of inter-relationships that have given the people of this area a sense of heritage and identity. Does this include the locals who identify as Christians? I hope not
Exodus 20:3-5
You shall have no other God's before Me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in Heaven above or on the earth beneath it in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation who hate me.

As for me and my family we will serve the Lord. Today was also a day we rebuked the er****on of this hideous idol. Prayers that the justified punishment of whoever created it shall not pass onto the third and fourth generation of this area.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Sadly a lot of my people still believe in the old gods, though all they've ever brought, is struggles with curse after curse. These days what I'm speaking of is most likely seen as culturally insensitive, judgemental, disrespectful or racist. The enemy has cunningly desensitized many nations over time and often we don't see the evil that's right in front of our own eyes.

Hebrews 4.13
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

I give glory to God for the blood of Christ, for His mercy, restoration, strongholds broken forever.
I love you Lord, lift up your people Hallelujah!! Praise God forever!!
