Yesterday, Tamā Sioa and our Vahefonua Tonga representative, Pauuli, had the privilege of meeting with Gisborne Mayor Rehette Stoltz to discuss how our Samoan and Tongan Methodist communities can partner with the Gisborne District Council to better support our wider Gisborne community. 🤍☝🏾

We are grateful for the opportunity to build stronger relationships, work together, and explore ways we can serve our community with faith, unity, and purpose. 🌱

Looking forward to what God has in store for our city. 🤝❤️

Tamā Sioa officially opened the Mataola (Vision of Life) gathering today - the first gathering held in a very long time💛🌱

Mataola is a special space that brings together our elders across Te Tairāwhiti, providing support, connection, fellowship, and opportunities to strengthen relationships within our community.💛

A blessed day of reconnecting, sharing stories, and celebrating the wisdom and contribution of our kaumātua and elderly members. 🤍

Our Sunday school of Kingdom Kidz launched our Sunday School for 2026 with a big BANG last Saturday in holding an amazing outing!!
The THEME is Climate Change and how to take care of our community...
We started with a Beach Clean Up at our local Beach, followed with a Climate Change workshop where we learnt about Recycle and Reuse of items around our homes then a yummy lunch & a big swim to end our amazing day ❤️💙
