Miracle in our midst.
I want to record the miracle God did in the church service today.
Four gals from Canada who are studying at Capenray Bible College in Cambridge joined us last Saturday night on our farm. We took them to The Kakahu Limestone Wave, Caves and Mushroom Rocks adventure area.
As we were climbing rock faces, spotting Limestone features and creatures, passing through sawcut gorge to the secret hanging Rocks, climbing the Escarpment face and scrambling up the molenbecker vines one of the gals shared that for this term their memory passage was John 15 ABIDE in THE VINE.
Sunday morning The Bible Study
was about Proof that Jesus was more than just a prophet.
Proof of "The Divinity of Christ".
1. The 65 Prophecies of God through Christ coming to Earth being born as a man etc.
2. Jesus's sinless life
3. Jesus Healings
4. Jesus Miracles
5) Jesus raising people from the dead
6. People worshipped Him and The Disciples worshipped Him.
7. Jesus accepted their worship.
8. Jesus accepted their worship.
9. JESUS FORGAVE SINS.
10. Jesus confessed to be 'God, The Father'.
11.JESUS WAS ABLE and IS ABLE TO CONFER ETERNAL LIFE ONTO PEOPLE.
PROOF OF "THE DIVINITY OF CHRIST".
1. BIBLE PROPHESIES
- See Leviticus 26:11-13,
"God promising to live and abide among us, be born as a man and walk among us, then He will be our God and we will be His People".
Numbers 13:16
Moses renaming Hoshea (God Saves) The Son of Nun (No man) to Yeshua/Joshua/Jesus (means GOD OUR SAVIOUR, GOD OF OUR SALVATION).
Isaiah 7:14
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Listen carefully, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel (means GOD WITH US.)"
Isaiah 9:6
Unto us a child is born, Unto us a SON IS GIVEN and the government shall be upon His Shoulder, His name shall be called Wonderful, Councilor, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, Prince of Peace"
2. THE SINLESS LIFE OF CHRIST
Jesus often said
"What sin do you accuse me of".
Finally He is accused of "Blaspheme" - "Equating Himself with God, Himself "
And sent to be Crucified on The Cross for this crime, but He was God in human flesh.
By comparison Mohammed broke every Commandment of God - Mohammed coveted, stole, murdered, lied, committed Adultery, lusted, R***d, Enslaved, Poligomi, pe******ia, worshipped idols (Kaaba) and Terrorised people.
Jesus said Matt 7
"The Thief (Mohammed) comes to kill Maim (Rape/Enslave) and Destroy, but I came that you might have LIFE and LIFE in all it's fullness (Eternal)"
3. JESUS MIRACULOUS HEALINGS
The Blind, The Deaf, The Lepers, The Lame, The bleeding Woman, The mentally & Spiritually Afflicted or possessed.
4. JESUS MIRACLES
A - TURNING WATER INTO WINE
B - FEEDING THE 4000 & 5000 MEN (plus additional Women & Children).
C - WALKING IN WATER (See Job 9:8
"You are God, who alone stretches out the heavens And TRAMPLES/TREADS ON THE WAVES OF THE SEA".
D- CALMING THE STORM
But did you know The Bible had already recorded He would do that?
See Psalm 107
24 They have seen the works of The Lord, and His wonders in the deep.
25 For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea.
26 They went up towards the heavens (on the crest of the wave), they went down again to the depths (in the trough);
Their courage melted away in their misery.
27 They staggered and trembled like drunken men, and were at their wits end (all of their wisdom and experience was useless) 28 Then they cried out to The Lord in their trouble, And He brought them out of their distresses, He hushed the storm, and the waves of the sea were still."
Psalm 89
"The heavens (angels) praise Your wonders, O Lord,
Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.

For who in the heavens can be compared to The Lord?
Who among the divine beings is like The Lord,

A God greatly feared and reverently worshiped in the council of the holy [angelic] ones,
And awesome above all those who are around Him?

O Lord God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty Lord God?
Your faithfulness surrounds You [as an intrinsic, unchangeable part of Your very being].

You rule the swelling of the sea;
When its waves rise, YOU STILL THEM"
When Jesus commanded the Wind & WAVES to be STILL and their was calm....
- The disciples exclaimed
"WHO IS THIS THAT EVEN THE WIND
and THE WAVES SHOULD OBEY HIM?"
5. RAISING PEOPLE FROM THE DEAD
- The widows Son at the funeral
- The Synagogue leaders little daughter
- Lazerus after three days.
- The many people who rose upon Jesus death
- Jesus was raised Himself from the dead.
6. PEOPLE WORSHIPED JESUS
The Angels worshiped Jesus, Matt1
The wizemen worshiped Jesus, Matt2
The Synagog leader worshipped Jesus,
The Centurian worshiped Jesus,
The Disciples worshiped Jesus.
The followers of Christ have worshipped Jesus since His assention.
7. JESUS RIGHTLY (as He was God) ACCEPTED THEIR WORSHIP.
A Jewish man would never bow to one He didn't know to be God nor would he accept worship from anyone unless HE WAS GOD.
8. THE ECLIPSE and EARTHQUAKE and RIPPING OF THE TEMPLE CURTAIN SEPERATING THE HOLY OF HOLIES FROM TOP TO BOTTOM at Christ Crusifiction.
The Centurian crusifying Jesus bowed his knee and exclaimed "Surely this was The Son of God".
9. JESUS FORGAVE SINS
Mark 2:3-12

"3 Then they came, bringing to Jesus a paralyzed man, who was being carried by four men. 4 When they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Jesus; and when they had dug out an opening, they let down the mat on which the paralyzed man was lying.
5 When Jesus saw their [active] faith [springing from confidence in Him],
He said to the paralyzed man,
“SON, YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.”
6 But some of the scribes were sitting there debating in their hearts [the implication of what He had said], 7 “Why does this man talk that way?
HE IS COMITTING BLAPHEMINE; WHO CAN FORGIVE SINS [remove guilt, nullify sin’s penalty, and assign righteousness]
BUT GOD ALONE?”
8 Immediately Jesus, being fully aware [of their hostility] and knowing in His spirit that they were thinking this, said to them,
“Why are you debating and arguing about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man,
‘YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN’; or to say,
‘GET UP PICK UP YOUR BED & WALK’?
10 But so that you may know that THE SON OF MAN HAS THE AUTHORITY AND POWER ON EARTH TO FORGIVE SINS”—He said to the paralyzed man, 11 “I say to you, get up, pick up your mat and go home.” 12 And he got up and immediately picked up the mat and went out before them all, so that they all were astonished and they glorified and praised God, saying,
“WE HAVE NEVER SEE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!"
10 JESUS CONFESSED TO BE THE FATHER.
John 10:30
"I (Jesus) and God, The Father are ONE"
(The same in essence, spirit and nature)
John 14:4-11

4 And [to the place] where I am going,
you know the way.”
5 Thomas said to Him,
“Lord, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I AM THE WAY [to God] and I AM THE TRUTH [of God] and I AM THE LIFE (Eternal); no one comes to God, The Father, except by means of Me."
Jesus’ Oneness with the Father
7 If you had [really] known Me, you would also have known My Father. From now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father and then we will be satisfied.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, NOR RECOGNISE CLEARLY WHO I AM? ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN ME,
HAS SEEN GOD, THE FATHER.
How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’
10 Do you not believe that
I AM (God) THE FATHER,
and
(God) THE FATHER IS IN ME?
The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but The Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power].
11 Believe Me that I AM IN THE FATHER
and GOD, THE FATHER IS IN ME;
otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed]."
11. JESUS WAS ABLE and IS ABLE TO CONFER ETERNAL LIFE ONTO PEOPLE.
John 3:16-18

16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the people of this world so much, that He [even] gave His [One and unique] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send The Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world, this time], but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 WHO EVER BELIEVES, TRUSTS IN AND RELIES ON HIM [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, THE ONE WHO ALONE CAN SAVE HIM]."
John 5:21-24 Amp
21 Just as The Father raises the dead and gives them life [and allows them to live on], even so THE SON ALSO GIVES ETERNAL LIFE TO WHOM HE CHOOSES.
22 For The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment [that is, the prerogative of judging] to The Son [placing it entirely into His hands], 23 so that all will give honor (reverence, homage) to The Son just as they give honor to The Father. [In fact] the one who does not honor The Son does not honor The Father who has sent Him.
24 “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, HAS (possesses now) ETERNAL LIFE [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and DOES NOT COME INTO JUDGEMENT and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life."
What do we make of What then do we make of Jesus puzzling words like -
"The Father is greater than I"
If God is like a big bag of sugar or bowl of honey.... Jesus is like a teaspoonfuĺ for you to taste. Emptied of majesty, power & glory come as a man with msnkind to dwell, so we can relate to God personally with God and know Him, which is life changing.
Philippians 2:5-8
Amp Bible
5 Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],
6 who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it];
7 but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human, but was without sin, being fully God and fully man]. 8 After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to The Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross."
The Bible says
"Oh taste and see for The Lord is good,
for He tastes like Honey in The Rock (Christ)".
Jesus is born into humanity, He could have been killed and was on the cross eventually for Blaspheme in claiming He was God or part of and equal to God Himself.
Joseph & Mary had to flee down to Egypt. Jesus was nearly thrown off cliffs twice and nearly stoned to death once.
Jesus is "Demonstrating The Christian life"
to an uneducated illiterate population and to all of us who come after Him.
The progression of Jesus ministry from 'Admit your a sinner & you can't save yourself, repent, dump your sin, invite Him in to rule and to reign in your life, take up your cross and follow me'
Through to "Go & Sin no more" - Santification by the Holy Spirit, convicting us of sin. Being made pure & holy.
To Service Matt 25
"As you do it to the least of these my brothers & sisters, fed the hungry, helped the poor, clothed the naked, visit those in prison.... you did it...you did it unto me".
Father now we know with absolute certainty and supreme confidence that Jesus was of you, The Father, but come to us in human flesh that we could relate to, know personally, walk with and could lead & guide us .
Bring that life changing revelation through us to those we meet, work with and encounter in our daily lives that they might know you... as we know you.

Then the miracle was revealed as Maria who had been praying what message should i bring..... felt led by The Lord saying to her
to get up to preach that sunday morning on
"ABIDING IN THE VINE",
and "ABIDING IN CHRIST".
JOHN 15 - The very passage the girls from The Hamilton Capenray Bible school had been memorizing for the term.
It brought an amazed surprised smile to the faces of us all.
ONLY GOD CAN ORCHESTRATE THAT!
Maria also shared
Colossians 2:9
"In Christ the whole fullness of The diety (Godhead) abides in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]
10 and you who are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead- FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT- and reach full spiritual stature and maturity].
He (Christ) is the head of all rule and principality and Power]. "
What struck me most was this Scripture:
1 John 4 :13-15
" 13 By this we come to know (perceive, recognise and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Christ and He in us; because He has given And imparted to us His Holy Spirit.
14. And [besides] we ourselves have seen (have deliberately and steadfastly contemplated) and bear witness that THE FATHER HAS SENT THE SON [as the] SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.
15. ANYONE WHO CONFESSES (Acknowledges, owns, identifies as His disciple) THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, GOD ABIDES (lives and makes His home)
IN HIM/HER and he/she [abides, lives and makes their home) in God".
MAY THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST ABIDE IN YOU, and THE JOY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT FULL YOUR HEART AS YOU SHARE HIM WITH OTHERS YOU ENCOUTER.
