This Sunday 9.30am 19th of April Jim McMillan speaking on God is on the Move!

Jim and his wife Wendy have lived in Ohau since 2020. Jim served in the RNZAF for 35 years retiring in 2006 and joined a London-based international consulting company focusing on Asia and Africa. In 2017 Jim and Wendy volunteered for an organisation working to free young women from human trafficking based in Northern Thailand, and covering Southeast Asia, India, Nepal, and North Africa. They returned to NZ when Covid-19 hit, and now spend a few months each year in Chiang Rai. In recent years they have become involved with the Hope Centre in Levin under the Inspire Hope Foundation banner freeing families enslaved in Pakistan. Working with local pastors in Lahore and Karachi, the work continues to expand through generous donations and has now freed 45 families.
