Help us wish our beloved leader a wonderful Happy 75th Birthday, today.

General Superintendent, Rev. Ta’ele Muavaefa’atasi Mika.

We give God all the glory for allowing us to witness His miraculous power at work through the life of our General Superintendent. A great teacher of God’s Word whom God has restored back to good health. He is our walking miracle, a living testimony of God’s faithfulness from generation to generation.

The Samoan General Council celebrates this great milestone and we continue to intercede for God’s healing power upon the father of our movement, His supernatural strength to be his covering and His anointing to remain upon His faithful servant.

His Word has accomplished exactly what we sent it forth to do. We decreed healing. We declared restoration and Heaven honoured the decree. The Word did not return void, but fulfilled its assignment with power.

To God be the glory, for He has done mighty things in our midst. Thank you to every prayer warrior across New Zealand and throughout the nations who stood in the gap for our Leader and partnered with us through prayer and fasting.

The prayers of the righteous still shake kingdoms and still overturn verdicts. Praise God for His healing upon our Tamā Taitai. What God has done is not ordinary. It is supernatural. It is sovereign. It is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes.

We continue to believe the report of the Lord, so help us praise God for our Leader and Father of the movement, and the miracle God has done in and through his life.

Healed, delivered and set free, in Jesus’ Name!

We solicit the prayers of the Saints for our Leader and Father of the Movement, Rev. Taele Muavaefa'atasi Mika. A national call to prayer has been declared for all our churches this morning as our Tamā Ta'ita'i continues to recover well, and we remain steadfast in intercession for his complete restoration.

We are a church that believes God is still in the business of healing, for truly there is nothing too hard for our God. We speak healing over the mind, the body and the spirit, in the mighty Name of Jesus!

Stand with us in prayer as we go before the Throne Room today, and let us praise God in advance for what He has already done.

Prayer still works, prayer changes things and prayer changes you.

Today we gather to honour and lay to rest a mighty warrior of the faith. He was a man who stood alongside our forefathers and helped open the way for the Pentecostal message to reach Tongan communities throughout Aotearoa. Reverend Dr Samisoni Moala Lenati became the founding father of the Tongan Assemblies of God in New Zealand, and later returned to Tonga where he became one of the key pioneers of the World Tongan Assemblies of God Fellowship.

Rev Sami is not often acknowledged among the early pioneers of the World Fellowship, but heaven has never forgotten. Heaven remembers. Heaven honours and Heaven redeems.

We will always honour the lives of Rev Dr Samisoni and Pastor Mele ‘Ilafau Lenati. Together they were a powerhouse for the Gospel, declaring that Jesus saves and that the Holy Spirit still empowers believers today. They walked faithfully with the Lord and served with courage, humility and great joy.

Today our General Superintendent Rev. Muavae Mika will bring the eulogy for Rev. Sami during his Homegoing Celebration. This reflects the deep friendship and partnership that Rev. Sami valued beyond the borders of the Tongan Assemblies of God movement.

We stand together with the General Council of The Tongan Assemblies of God in New Zealand as we celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr Samisoni Moala Lenati. He now rejoins his beloved wife Pastor Mele in the grandstands of heaven. There, they stand with our forefathers and generals gone before us, cheering us on to finish the race that has been set before us; championing us to keep serving the Lord with faithfulness and gladness.

What a legacy they leave behind. Thank you Rev. Sami for giving to the Lord. We are stronger and better today because you gave.

Go and take your crown. Go and take your rest. You have served well, and now you will hear the words of the Master saying, “well done good and faithful servant.”
