Parish Movie Night - Holy Days
Mark your calendars for Thursday 26 February at 5:45pm (nibbles from 5:15pm) at Lighthouse Cinema, Petone! We’re excited to host a special screening of Holy Days, a dramedy based on the book by Joy Cowley. It’s a great night out with the parish community. Contact Rose Odlin to grab your tickets.

The Village: A Relaxed Gathering
New and casual! On Sunday 22 February at 4pm, bring your family to “The Village” - a relaxed space to explore faith together, connect with others, and enjoy a warm welcome.

This week we’re delighted to be hosting a shared service with our friends from St Ronan’s. It will be a lovely opportunity to worship together and celebrate how we are called to be the light in the world.
The service will also include a Blessing of the Backpacks for our school children as they prepare to return to school.
Do come along to San Antonio at 9:30am and be part of a warm, joyful Sunday together – you’ll be very welcome.

Summer holiday Sundays see the three Eastbourne churches getting together for one service each day, and here's the schedule.
- Sunday 28 December at 12 noon (NB) : fellowship lunch at St Ronan's Church. Bring a plate to share.
- Sunday 4th January at 9.30 am: service at St Ronan's Church led by St Ronan's Presbyterian
- Sunday 11 January at 9.30 am: service at San Antonio Church led by St Alban's Anglican
- Saturday (NB) 17 January at 5.30 pm: service at San Antonio Church led by San Antonio's Catholic. No Eastbourne service on Sunday 18th.
Then Sunday 25th January is back to usual Sunday, so Anglicans gather at San Antonio Church at 9.30 am.

'Twas the week before Christmas and there is lots happening! Tomorrow Sunday 21st September, a said 8.30 am Eucharist is followed by a service of "Nine Lessons and Carols" - a feast of words and songs to share the Christmas message - at 9.30 am.
Then on Christmas Eve, the Christmas Crib service especially for children kicks of the celebrations at 5 pm, and then at 10.30 pm the Midnight Mass provides a quiet and sacred moment as we welcome God with us. Christmas morning sees just the one Anglican service, at 9 am (note), an informal non-Eucharistic service, finishing in time for everybody to go on to enjoy Christmas Day festivities in your chosen way. All services at San Antonio Church, Oroua Street Eastbourne.

Last Sunday's community carol service Christmas Live! ended up in the St Alban's garden on a lovely evening. Thanks everyone who came, carolled and helped cater.

Advent proceeds apace, and this coming Sunday December 7th we have two events - our regular first-Sunday-of-the-month shared service with the Presbyterians, this time at St Romans at 9.30 am.
Then our community Christmas special at 4.30 the same afternoon, Christmas Live! starting outside St Ronan's with song and story and moving to the St Alban's garden down the road, where we finish with Christmas treats. All welcome to everything.

St Alban's church fundraiser - second pre-loved classy clothing and accessories sale will be at the Eastbourne Lions market inside San Antonio School, Sunday 30 November 10-3pm.

We are wanting IT - web help from someone who would be prepared to offer their time and expertise with occasional help for our web site with a Wordpress platform. This is not for posts but when we would like to alter the format or layout or eg add a new header or box.

We are wanting to be a community hub for multiple activities and for our site web to offer a resource that Facebook doesn't have.
