There is great power in the Church gathering, worshipping, and praying for a city to be touched by the gospel of Jesus Christ. On 20th September, 4.30pm at the Town Hall, the churches of Dunedin (including DCBC) will be coming together for a time of Celebration, inspiration, and intercession. Guest Speaker Sam Harvey is National Coordinator for 24/7 Prayer NZ, and brings a unique perspective on the way that God is stirring prayer up and down the nation. Children are welcome and will receive activity packs that are linked to theme of the service. An offering will be collected on the day.

Monday night!
The Bible truly is an incredible book. It is the best-selling, most quoted, and most published book in human history. How can we know that the Bible isn’t just an ancient book of fiction and folklore? Hasn’t its content been tampered with down through the years? Isn’t it out of sync with scientific discoveries? What makes the Bible any different from any other religious book in the world?

These are questions that intelligent, thinking people are asking today and they deserve answers. We are going to address these issues on Monday, 31st August at DCBC in a seminar Peter will be leading. Following the presentation there will be a Q&A panel to answer questions you have on this subject. 7:30pm start. Hope to see you there! 😀

This Thursday, DCBC is hosting an evening of prayer for our world. We are running this in conjunction with two other Churches: Abundant Life and Mercy Vineyard. We have also invited churches from across the city. These prayer evenings are a newer initiative that was birthed from the monthly meetings of the Combined Dunedin Churches.
