This year, our Social Justice Week focus of Belonging will focus on the first of these
three relationships, our relationship with God, our belonging to God. The prophet Isaiah reminds us that each one of us is precious in God’s eyes, honoured and loved (cf. Isa 43:4), for it was God who created our being and knit us together in our mother's womb (cf. Ps 139:13-14). In the words of St Augustine, “You made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.”
