2026 Music Ministry Dunedin shirts 💚

This shirt features a cross with the name of Jesus at the centre of the logo which symbolizes that God is at the heart of our worship. ✝️

The circles with our name surrounding the cross symbolizes our continuous and endless commitment to serving the Lord through music, whether it be liturgical or worship songs. ⭕️🙌🏻

At the back of the shirt is a scripture. We firmly adhere to our promise as stated in Psalm 104:33. 🙏🏻

No longer the same, for in Christ, we are made anew. 💫

From seeking to serving, from brokenness to renewal — today we honor the lives transformed through Christ. 🙏🏻

HONOURING NIGHT 🫶🏻

We thought it’s a great time to honour this exceptional musician for her extraordinary contributions to our community and to the church.

Our leaders have always been grateful to our brothers and sisters in the music ministry for sharing their 3 Ts at all times. Nevertheless, last night, we gave Sis Jhoren Gamboa a special trophy/ornament called “red/green koru hook” which symbolizes harmony, prosperity, new beginnings, good luck, and positive changes. 😌 When connected to music, it means being called to lead others closer to God through music while growing continuously in faith and service.

Last night on her birthday, we acknowledged Sis Jhoren for generously sharing her time, talent and heart without hesitations. Sis Jhoren willingly helps us play the keyboard during our liturgy choir, helps discern songs for each Eucharistic mass, created playlists, patiently rehearsed with us during the SI TWR, and continuously give suggestions to help improve our singing. Her dedication reminds us that serving God does not always require a title or position — it simply requires a willing heart. 💟

May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly, strengthen your gifts, and reward the kindness and love you have shared with this community.
Happy birthday once again 🎂🎂🎂 and we truly appreciate you!! ❤️

CLP talk 7: Growing in the Spirit 🕊️

We are “babies in Christ” and we need to grow by making use of the tools provided by God, and we need encouragement from a community of like-minded believers.

Bro Matias Cortez reminded us to come together as a community to grow and evolve in our faith in Christ, guided by the wisdom and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
