Celebrate Thai New Year & Songkran Festival 2026!

Wat Pathum Rangsee Wattanaram and the Thai & Buddhist Community cordially invite all Buddhists and New Zealanders to join us in celebrating the joyful Thai New Year, or "Songkran Festival," for 2026!

Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year, is a time of happiness, family reunions, and new beginnings. We invite you to experience the vibrant culture of Thailand right here in New Zealand.

Alms Offering (Tak Bat): Participate in a traditional alms offering to monks for good fortune in the Thai New Year.
Bathing the Buddha Image: A symbolic act of washing away misfortunes and receiving blessings.

Thai Cultural Performances: Enjoy enchanting traditional Thai dance and music.

ปีใหม่ไทย หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อ "วันสงกรานต์" เป็นเทศกาลแห่งความสุขสันต์ การรวมญาติ และการเริ่มต้นสิ่งใหม่ๆ ตามประเพณีไทยโบราณ ในวันงาน ท่านจะได้สัมผัสกับวัฒนธรรมไทยอันงดงามและหลากหลาย
