A busy weekend coming up!
This Saturday, the Forge are fundraising at Mitre 10 Papanui to cover the costs of Easter Camp. Head down and see them from 8.30am-4pm, buy a sausage (a steal at $2.50 each), and find out what our youth are up to.

Then, on Sunday morning, we invite you to join us at 10am for our Pentecost service. There will be a pot luck lunch afterwards. In the spirit of the feast, we want to fill the church with prayer in as many languages as possible: when we reach the Lord's Prayer, we would love you to use whichever language is near and dear to your heart. Please feel free to bring a print out if you'll need help keeping your place!

On this Wednesday of Holy Week, let us remember that the true April Fools are those who willingly betray Christ.
All of us fall short. Take time today to examine yourself honestly: are there areas of your life in which you, like Judas, actively forsake Christ in favour of worldly things? What are your thirty pieces of silver?

Begin the journey to the Cross with us tomorrow at 7pm, and sit before it on Friday at 10am and 2.30pm.

This Sunday we sing hosannas and celebrate Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem within the context of our normal services. Then things start to change.
