The Life Connection Missionary Baptist Assembly, (TLC) is affiliated with the ABA (American Baptist Association), an international association of over 2000 Baptist Assemblies of like faith and practice throughout the world.
Assemblies associated with the ABA are known as ‘Missionary Baptists’ due to their marked commitment to the Mission work of the great commission Jesus gave his Assemblies to fulfil. Please note, you will find other churches calling themselves “Missionary Baptist” who may not be affiliated with our fellowship, though they have owned the same name. Such is life.
Although we are affiliated with the ABA – we are not an “American Assembly” – TLC is a “NEW ZEALAND Assembly” associated with the ABA established to meet the spiritual needs of New Zealanders of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
However, we are indebted to our special Family and friends in Christ, who sacrificially support us with finance love and prayers from the United States, so we can have the resources and encouragement to do the work that the Lord has called us to as New Zealanders in his Kingdom.
We have a sending Sponsoring Assembly: Wises Chapel, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Located in Pineville Arkansas, USA.

Because the Lord’s Assemblies have been around hundreds of years before the ABA was established; TLC will also formally fellowship with any Assembly of Jesus Christ of sound faith and Doctrine (See the essentials we believe).
The bulk of our funding is also given by Assemblies who are affiliated with the ABA. This includes our Pastors support, which is mostly provided by the Assemblies of the ABA. One of our goals naturally, is to be able to support our own ministry staff financially through our own resources.
The Bible teaches that financial support of an Assembly – ought to come from the support of its members.
Since the beginning of The Life Connection Baptist in 2010, the people of the ABA have freely invested many thousands of New Zealand dollars into the work here, for all kinds of ministry needs.
We have a sending Sponsoring Assembly: Wises Chapel, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Located in Pineville Arkansas, USA. Wises Chapel has supported New Zealand Ministry for almost two decades.
As a sending, Sponsoring Assembly, Wises Chapel provide supports to us in so many ways including counsel, accountability, and encouragement, and administrative assistance in collecting and distributing support that is raised. A number of other Missionary Baptist Assemblies also contribute to the work of Christ through this ministry in partnership with Wises Chapel.
Our Pastor, Carl Bromley & his Wife, Melanie, have been active as Missionaries in New Zealand since 1996 and have served Christ in five cities of New Zealand, Including a Congregational plant in Dunedin, previously in Christchurch for 11yrs. They have also served in Tauranga, Palmerston North, and Pahiatua, seeking to faithfully be used by Christ in his great commission.
Our ministry partners are committed with us in our vision to see The Life Connection Baptist Fellowship become a self-sufficient, Assembly of Jesus Christ; that is in a capable or reproducing other Assemblies of like faith and practice through missions in New Zealand, the pacific, and throughout the world as God leads and sees fit.
