Sunday Highlights! 🌿✨
Awesome Sunday together at Christchurch North Salvation Army!
A huge thank you to Sarah for leading us so beautifully in worship today. Your heart for God and your willingness to serve are such a blessing to our church family. 🙌
Kim shared a timely and challenging message on spiritual warfare, reminding us of the importance of being wise, alert, and vigilant as followers of Jesus. A great reminder that we need to keep our eyes on Christ and stand firm in Him.
It was also so special to welcome back Sarah Kendrick and her family today. Sarah was part of one of the original families of our church and, years ago, was one of my youth group leaders when I was the youth worker here. It was wonderful to see her again after so many years and to have her and her kids worshipping with us. ❤️
Our kids had a fantastic time getting creative, making handprint dinosaurs today 🦕🍃. There were lots of smiles, creativity, and fun as they explored and made some awesome creations.
We’re so grateful for Sundays like this — full of worship, encouragement, connection, and community. Thanks to everyone who helped make today such a special time together.

What a fantastic Sunday together!
Today was Food Sunday, and it was such a great time of fellowship, laughter, and sharing a meal together. A big thank you to everyone who jumped in to help in the kitchen and serve the food—it was hugely appreciated. And a special thanks to Adelaide, who added some of her own dishes to the meal as well. Everything went down a treat!
We were also blessed to hear an inspiring testimony from Adelaide, sharing what God has been doing in her life. Thank you for your openness and willingness to encourage us all.
To top it all off, we held our first-ever church-wide Paper, Scissors, Rock Championship. There were plenty of laughs, some fierce competition... and in a fitting twist, Adelaide took out the title! 🏆✂️📄🪨
Thanks to everyone who came and helped make today such a special day. We love being a church that shares life together.

One of the many things we love about Belfast is the incredible community spirit.
Here at Christchurch North Salvation Army, we're so grateful for the support we receive from local businesses and organisations. We'd especially like to acknowledge again Greg and his team at Northwood New World, who have been incredibly generous and helpful over the years, particularly in supporting our food bank ministry.
We'd also like to acknowledge Billy from Canterbury Signs here in Belfast. Billy has consistently gone above and beyond in the way he's supported us here at the Sallys. His workmanship is top-notch, his attention to detail is second to none, and he genuinely cares about doing a great job. The quality of his work is always excellent, and he's a pleasure to work with.
We're thankful for people and businesses like these who help us do what we do. Your support makes a real difference in our community, and we appreciate it more than you know. ❤️🙏🏻

What a great Food Sunday! 🥞😊
There was a real buzz around the place this morning as people gathered around good food, good conversation, and a great sense of community.
The pancakes were a hit, and we were spoiled by the extra homemade food that people brought along. It's always amazing to see people contributing in their own way and helping create such a welcoming atmosphere.
We were also privileged to hear Barry share part of his life journey with us, which was both encouraging and inspiring.
Along with the food and friendship, we enjoyed worshipping together and taking some time to reflect on faith and what God is doing in our lives.
One of the things we love most about Food Sunday is that it's about more than just food—it's about connection, friendship, faith, and doing life together.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the morning happen. If you couldn't make it this morning, we'd love to welcome you along next time. We'd love to see you there! 😊
