Today is our final Sunday of Mission Month 2026!

We'll be hearing from two of our Mission Partners based in northern Uganda, Nick & Tessa, about their work in the Gulu region.

Their work encompasses medical care and peace making between local tribes.

Rev Harry will also be wrapping up Mission Month in his sermon at all three services today:

Since 1990, Empower Latin America/Asia has been on the ground serving and caring for children in some of the most unsafe environments on earth. What started as safe homes in Bangkok for children rescued from the s*x trade has grown into a mission that now reaches into some of the most violent regions across Latin America, giving kids in Central America a way out of gang life and a path toward high school graduation and university.

This Sunday, we get to hear directly from Empower about their incredible work:

🕊️ 10:30am – Family Service, Nayland Chapel
🕊️ 7pm – Night Church, Nayland Chapel

😋 Tonight we've got Japanese curry for dinner ahead of our night service, Substance, at Nayland St Chapel.

7pm potluck dinner, worship at 720ish - we'd love to have you join us!

Rev Harry is preaching, we're being joined by Rick & Anne who are two of our NZCMS Mission Partners, and (sadly) our youth band are unwell but we're being joined by Finn & Co who will be leading our sung worship!

Every year we dedicate a month to celebrating & championing all things missional. We actually have Mission Partners serving from Asia, to the Middle East, to East Africa and beyond serving as peace workers, doctors, educators, teachers, translators, disciplers, and more.

And this week we're actually being joined by two of our NZCMS Missiom Partners in person: Rick & Anne. They've got an incredible testimony which they'll be sharing about bit of + an update of their work overseas.

They will be speaking at both the 9am and 1030am services.

Rev Harry will be preaching at the 7pm service with Rick & Anne also sharing in the service.

VOM support Christians across the globe living in areas where they are persecuted for their faith.
