Our Hope Presbyterian AGM is being held on Wednesday 29th July, 7:00pm at Hope Hornby. This meeting is where we deal with the various items of business that are specified in the PCANZ Book of Order - but we also want this to be an engaging occasion where we reflect on who God is and His faithfulness to us in 2025 in a period of praise and worship, followed by a reflection from scripture.

All are welcome and we hope to see you there!

A pre-AGM meeting will be held in the church lounge at Hope Hornby on Tuesday 14th July at 7:00pm. This is a chance to ask questions and have a more in-depth discussion than is possible at the AGM. Questions can be submitted to [email protected]

In our new Exodus series, starting at all sites this Sunday 14th June, we’ll journey from Exodus 12–40 and watch how God doesn’t just rescue Israel from Egypt, He reshapes them into His people. Redeemed by blood, led by His presence, formed through worship, obedience, repentance, and dependence, they become a visible witness to the world around them.

This series connects deeply with our theme of Empowered Witnesses. Witness isn’t just about what we say, it’s about the kind of people we become. A people marked by God’s presence. A people whose lives point to Him.

Exodus shows us a God who rescues people out of darkness, draws them near, and re-roots them in Himself so they can carry His presence and reflect His glory to the world.

As Christians, we believe our true identity and belonging are found first in Jesus. From that place, we’re sent into the world, strengthened by one another as part of God’s family, the Body of Christ.

But faith isn’t meant to be lived alone. Scripture calls us to be active, committed members of a local church - a spiritual home where we participate, serve, and grow together.

"Witness" is part two of our 2026 anchor theme, Empowered Witnesses 🕊

After being formed and strengthened in our "Empowered" series, we now step into "Witness". Witness isn’t just about saying the right thing at the right time, it’s about becoming people with open hearts, open eyes, and open hands.

It’s noticing where God is already at work, responding to the Spirit, and joining Jesus in His mission through everyday conversations, invitations, prayer, hospitality, courage, and love.

As a church, we’re called to be outward-focused: helping people take steps toward Jesus, and creating a warm, inviting community people are excited to call home. "Witness" is an invitation to live the Spirit-filled life Jesus calls us to - a life that overflows with His grace.

Starts this Sunday at all sites.
