Welcome to the official page of "Interference" an in-development ground-breaking 90-minute documentary directed by Welby Ings (Punch 2022, Sparrow 2016). 🎥

Set in 1980s New Zealand, where being gay means hiding in plain sight, "Interference" explores the relentless struggle for LGBTQ+ law reform, delving into the stories of activists like Welby himself, battling oppression and discrimination within New Zealand, while fending off international meddling from the religious right of America.

This Sunday All Souls is running this event which is sure to be touching and healing for some.

Join us this Sunday Evening at 5pm as we hear a new collection of poems by Jane Simpson in response to abuse in the Anglican Church.

Today you are welcome to join in the conversation style service at 11.30 at All Souls cnr Papanui Rd and Church lane. This includes a light lunch. Also at 5pm All Souls in gathering together to pray for peace. Very welcome at both - or either.
