Sunday at 5 We are a community of people wanting to follow Christ. We meet for a meal every Sunday. We value authentic relationships and good bible teaching.

The evening service is part of the Anglican Parish of Burnside-Harewood, meeting 6:30pm on a Sunday evening at St Tim's church, 46 Kendal Ave, Christchurch. We're a community of all ages, with a particular ministry to young adults.

Kia ora koutou,

2021 has been a fantastic adventure. We have seen growth both in numbers attending 630 Live as well as Christ moving in the hearts, minds and souls of individuals. We have grown as a community in which we genuinely care for each other. It makes it almost impossible to get in and out of church without having a quality conversation! The range of ages and experiences of parishioners (people who attend regularly) also means it has a healthy / cohesive, extended family vibe.

There definitely have been moments of turbulence this year. Cold winter nights, lockdown and all things Covid related have meant we have had to face a range of interruptions. Yet, these pressurized problems have resulted in some beautiful moments. We decided as a group to be a combo service to include vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Furthermore, we have all been willing to assist with extra duties required for to this.

We are not a service. We are a community seeking to follow Christ. I feel blessed to be part of this.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again on January 16th. Please see the events tab for more information.

Blessings,
Nathan Muirhead

A thought of mine and a local pastor:

As we enter a tricky season with the introduction of the Covid traffic light system, there is a great mixture of emotions circulating at the moment. Clint Ussher, Pastor of The Well Church, states the summarises the necessary Christian response:
“No matter what choice people make in regard to vaccination, it is important that as Christians, we show love, understanding and grace toward one another on this issue. In a world of increasing tribalism and social division, it is vital the church models a way of approaching differences based on love and humility. This is a central part of our witness to the world. As Jesus said, “they will know you are my disciples by your love for one another” (John 13:35).”

Let us be disciples known for our love of God and towards each other.

Hello Everyone!
This weekend we were going to have the amazing Matua Ronnie Moore speak to us but due to covid restrictions of 100 people, as we are expecting a big crowd, and social distancing we have had to postpone this to the 27th of February next year.
We are expecting this to be a really great event and will do some marketing videos to promote ‘I Am Hope’ trust, which Matua Ronnie is a board member of, and to Promote Matua Ronnie
himself.

We will create a new Event that you can share as well.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Blessings
Terry
