CCB Announcement Concerning the Encounter Congregation

In 2015, our Church began an Encounter Congregation. Over the past couple of years, the congregation has declined in numbers. In spite of efforts to help Encounter grow, the CCB have decided to end this ministry. The Final Service of Thanksgiving will be on Saturday 19th July at 4:30pm. Those who have been a part of Encounter, been blessed by Encounter, or would like to join in giving thanks are welcome to attend.

It is anticipated that with the coming of Pastor Ric that a new ministry can begin.

The day has come 🥹 church, we invite you to come to a very special service in the story of Encounter’s journey as we honour and celebrate Allen & Yixing for their faithfulness and fruitfulness here at Encounter at the Christchurch Community Church. We look towards the promises and calling that God has called them towards and believe the best is truly yet to come. We look forward to seeing you at 4:30pm on 286 Greers Road. ❤️🏠

Hey Church! We'd love to invite you to join us in a very special service tomorrow afternoon as we send off in celebration our favourite Korean, Singaporean duo; Sion & Nate.

Words cannot express how grateful we are for their faithfulness not just in our community, for all the work they are to step into in this next season through obeying God's calling. Come to church tomorrow at 4:30pm to hear all about it through a spesh Q&A sesh.

Sermon recap last week: God would want us to not only grow spiritually, but also share God’s love to our friends and families. Sometimes, we are reluctant to talk about our faith in our workplace or school. We may feel that workplace and church do not share a connection. Little do we know that we are the bridge that connects both places together! We can start from just one or two friends to know our faith. Trust in God and let God do his miracles. This was to in contrast to how Andrew trusted in God when he brough the boy with five loaves and two small fishes. He trusted God’s process and be a part of it. Knowing that God’s wonder would certainly exceed our expectations like how in the verse, there were twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of leftovers. Let us be like Andrew. Start being a part of God’s process to let people around us know him!
