Durham Street Methodist Church Officially we are the Christchurch Central Methodist Parish, but most people know us as Durham Street Mehodists

We love diversity and are committed to radical inclusion, regardless of age, gender-diversity, sexual orientation, race, disability. We also revel in the insights that deepen our own faiths from working with people of other faiths and none. Our amazing new, multi-purpose Aldersgate centre was rebuilt following the 2009 and 2010 earthquakes that destroyed out buildings and killed three people. We have been based back at Aldersgate since Christmas Day 2019. Our very first service in the original stone building was held on Christmas Day, 1864. Our Sunday Gatherings are in Aldersgate Chapel at 10:00am. For more info, click on our website: www.aldersgate.org.nz.
