Lighthouse Baptist Church invites you to join us in celebration of the birth of Christ this December! We have two Christmas outreach events this year:

On 13 December, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, join us for our annual Christmas Community BBQ. Sausages, candy floss, bouncy castles, and more! This event is free to the community!

On 20 December, at 6:00 PM, enjoy an evening of Christmas music from our adult choir, children's choir, and others in our first ever Christmas Night of Music. A dessert fellowship will be held afterwards for all in attendance.

Message us for more details about either of these events, and as always, feel free to join us for Sunday services all December long!

Yesterday was our "Missions Refresher Sunday." Our church took extra time to learn about why we pray for and financially support missionaries, to receive updates on various missionaries we support, and to hear from Angela Morgan who is heading to Zambia as a missionary in January.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." - Acts 1:8

What a fantastic Grand Opening service we enjoyed today.

120 people, guests and church family alike, gathered to celebrate what God has done at the corner of Gilberthorpes and Waterloo roads. We enjoyed thanking all of the various people who played a part in the renovation process, and giving all of the glory to God. We also were reminded of why our church exists: to declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you to all who prayed for this day, and a special thank you to everyone who joined us. Enjoy these pictures of the day!
