Today's Sermon - "The Ongoing Work" - concerns Paul's time in Athens.
There are 3 ideas in this text that capture the key elements of the ongoing work of Paul and the Apostles in the book of Acts: The idea of spreading out; the idea of a hunger for God; the idea of making God known.

Last week we talked about the speech that Peter gave after the experience of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, when 3,000 people became followers of Christ.
This week we explore, why was there such a strong, numerous and immediate respose to this sermon?

Celebrate with us on this Christmas morning

We have watched; we have waited
In hope we lit the first candle.
With love we lit the second candle.
In joy we lit the third candle.
For peace we lit the fourth candle.
Now our redemption draws near!
We remember God with us!
And so the Christ candle bursts into flame!
