紐西蘭全體佛光人供僧緬懷大師　發願續佛光傳心燈
國際佛光會紐西蘭北島協會及南島協會8月23日於北島佛光山大雄寶殿舉行「2026年紐西蘭佛光山供僧法會」，住持滿信法師偕南北島常住法師出席，帶領逾300位信眾諷誦《盂蘭盆經》。南北島協會理事依序獻食、獻燈，以清淨供養感念三寶恩德，緬懷佛光山開山祖師星雲大師教化恩德。
A heartfelt Sangha Day celebration at Fo Guang Shan New Zealand, honouring the Founding Master and carrying forward his legacy with gratitude, faith and dedication. 🙏✨

紐西蘭南島佛光山將於2026年8月8日始啟建一年一度孝親報恩地藏法會，以報答父母養育之恩。仗佛光明，此殊勝功德專伸迴向歷代先遠考妣宗親及累劫冤親債主，得以薦拔蓮品增上。以地藏菩薩大願功德力迴向眾生，清淨三業，消災免難，闔家幸福安樂。
FGS Buddhist Temple Chch will held the annual Ksitigarbha Dharma Service on 8th August. With the compassion of Buddha and Bodhisattva, may the sentient beings liberate from the suffering and rebirth into the pure land. The great vow of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva helps to purify one’s karma, relief disaster and gain family’s happiness.

On 27th June, FGS Christchurch welcomed over 130 participants to an inspiring Life Talk by Dr Kwong Chan on Facing Death, Embracing Life.One of the most touching messages from the talk was:

"We do not leave our loved ones behind—we carry them with us, because they are forever part of our lives."

Dr Chan also encouraged everyone to express these heartfelt words to the people we love while there is still time:

❤️ I'm sorry
❤️ I love you

When we live without regrets, we are also able to say our final goodbyes with greater peace and acceptance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful and inspiring afternoon. May we continue to cherish each moment, treasure those around us, and live each day with gratitude, compassion, and love.
