Sunday we talked about welcoming people to our house. Our house is God's house where we open the door to all who have a need. Which house is God's house? The house we are in at anytime. Not just church but any other place where we are.

ust thinking about writing something on here about the great community times we have together learning and celebrating the wonderful world we live in. How we can
learn more of the teachings of Jesus especially how we can make the world better.
How God sustains us through our daily lives.
These are my thoughts and no doubt you may have other ideas but it is through chatting, discussing and listening that we grow. Let's see what tomorrow the 9 July has for us. Really wanted picture at the beginning. What are your thoughts?

Sundays we continue celebrating our community by having lunch together sharing joy and life. Today was Refugee Sunday as we prayed for people in difficult circumstances around the world and thought of ways to show our love. St Marks is a really caring practical place to belong to.

Did you know that every snow flake is different and they are just like people all different and unique. We are loved by God and are so precious to him.
In Church on Sunday the children made snow and had a wonderful time working and thinking about our individual being.
Making snow?? Quite easy!

We had a wonderful learning time about Abram last Sunday comparing his journey with our life journey and what we can learn.
Linda had groups where we could participate.....
Discussion time
Making a mural
Board game of Abram's journey
The food his whanau would have eaten on the way
Word find
Song
This created a time of being together and listening to all, young and not so young in our church whanau.
A very special thank you to the leader of this time together.

All are Welcome at the Friendliest church in Christchurch.

Today we celebrate the season of Spring.
A group of the Church created this colourful display of flowers which give us such joy after the bleak winter. We thank God for the joyful world of nature we live in.

Saw this today and really liked it. I hope you do as well. Let me know what you think.
