✨ Stringing Pearls ✨

Can we be angry? Is it allowed? Did God give us this emotion? What’s its purpose? Anger... what is it?

We often imagine Jesus as a very serene, calm, and soft-spoken man. But, just like us, Jesus felt anger, and in John 2:13–25 He gets so angry that He flips tables!

Have you ever noticed that anger often comes from another feeling? The thing that lies underneath it can cause an explosion that we sometimes struggle to contain disappointment, grief, hurt, or sadness.

But do we really need ways to manage anger? It's not simply about learning how to control it. God made this emotion, so feeling angry is not a bad thing. However, we can learn to express our anger in ways that do not harm ourselves or others.

Join us tomorrow at the 10.30 as we explore what the Bible has to say about anger, its purpose, and how God intends us to handle it. We'd love to see you there. 💛

A familiar term that has the sense of inevitability about it.

Belshazzar's number was up.
But who was he?

The only reference of him was in the Bible. Secular history only recorded Nabonidus as the last king of Babylon.

That was until the Nabonidus Cylinder was discovered, confirming the biblical record.

The Bible is more accurate than tomorrow's newspaper. 📰

Today marks D Day. 6 June 1944.

The day the combined allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy France to liberate Europe from the evil clutches of N**i Germany.

Like the paratroopers on that day, tomorrow morning with Pastor Dan we will parachute into the middle of an armed conflict in the bible during a time of civil war.

Just like a movie with a central theme with sub plots, betrayals, tensions, intrigue and muderous intent.
