This week’s Sunday Session has been postponed and will now be held on Sunday 8 November.

We’ll be continuing with Daniel 11. If you have a chance, you might like to read over Daniel 10 again beforehand, as the two chapters are connected.

📖 Back 2 Basics – Solid Foundations

Series: Practical Christian Living
Study 2: The Lord’s Supper

This week we’re looking at the Lord’s Supper, why we share communion and what Jesus asked us to remember when we do.

Come along tomorrow morning, 10.30am, as we open the Bible together and take a closer look at the meaning behind the bread and the cup, and what they remind us of all Jesus has done for us.

Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years. We’d love to see you there! 🤍

🌿 Stringing Pearls

This week, We will take a look at the happiest-sounding fruit of the spirit: joy!

Why is joy a trait of Jesus that we should be using regularly? Because the joy of God in our lives is strength against darkness. Ever hear the phrase “the joy of the Lord is my strength”? That’s what we’re talking about! Learn how to leverage God’s strength in your life everyday through the fruit of the spirit, joy. ✨

Can’t wait to see you there tomorrow at 10:30am!

☀️ Sunday morning ☀️

John 5 - The Pool of Bethesda

For many centuries the pool of Bethesda remained a hidden mystery until the 19th century when archeologists uncovered it.

Tomorrow morning we will do some discovering of our own as we dig into John 5.

📣 Prayer Meeting Cancelled This Week

Hi church family, just a wee notice to say that our prayer meeting will not be going ahead tonight. 🤍

Although we won’t be gathering together this evening, let’s keep lifting one another up in prayer throughout the week. Take some time to spend with the Lord and pray for our church family, our community, and those who need encouragement or healing.

Thank you for understanding, and please pass this on to anyone who may have been planning to come along. 🙏

✨ Stringing Pearls ✨

We are looking at a short book of the Bible, Obadiah! 📖

The book of Obadiah, in the Old Testament, provides a great lesson about shifting our focus from serving ourselves, to serving God and loving others, and how that shift can make life infinitely more rich.

This book will take us on a journey of grace and humility. If pride is flexing before God, “humility is the disposition which prepares the soul for living on trust” (Andrew Murray), instead of relying on ourselves. 🌿

Tomorrow morning, 10.30am.
Can't wait to see you there!
