On Sunday, Heather Parker spoke from Luke 24, exploring the journey to Emmaus. Just as physical journeys often include challenges and obstacles, our spiritual journey can too.
Heather reminded us that Jesus walks with us through every season and shared practical tools God has given us to help overcome the obstacles we face along the way.
If you missed Sunday's message, or would like to listen again, be sure to catch the full sermon at www.oasisfamilychurch.org.nz/sermons or on Spotify

Lord, I place September into Your hands. As winter fades, help me leave behind what I no longer need: old fears, burdens, disappointments, and anything holding me back from You. As spring begins, teach me to grow and bloom in the ways You desire, rooted in Your love and guided by Your truth.
Draw close to me in this season, Lord. May I trust You with what lies ahead, knowing that You are faithful in every season. Amen.

On Sunday, Trish Holdaway challenged us to reflect on what truly matters in life. In a world full of distractions, responsibilities, and competing priorities, she reminded us that keeping the main thing the main thing is what really counts.
As followers of Jesus, our main thing should always be God. When He is at the centre, everything else finds its proper place.
