Sunday’s Communion service came with a little extra entertainment! 😂🙌

We were treated to a hilarious, funny and incredibly entertaining skit featuring Pastor Liz, Lance, Leon and Pastor Geoff — and somehow, in between all the laughs, they managed to teach us som**hing!

❤️ The power of the Lord’s blood!

What a beautiful reminder that the blood of Jesus is not som**hing we should ever take lightly. It represents the sacrifice He made for us, the forgiveness we have through Him, and the new covenant we have because of His incredible love.

A night filled with laughter, learning, worship and remembering Jesus and the price He paid for us. 🙏

Thank you Pastor Liz, Lance, Leon and Pastor Geoff for giving us plenty of laughs while bringing home such an important truth! 😂❤️

There is power in the blood of Jesus!

💙 FATHER’S DAY | PM SERVICE 💙

What a beautiful Father’s Day evening at C3 as Lance Connor brought a message reminding us of one simple but profound truth:

God is our Father in Heaven. 🙏

Beginning in Genesis and moving through the Psalms, we were reminded again and again to praise our Father — not just occasionally, but continually. Praise Him for who He is, for His glory, His goodness and His love.

📖 Psalm 29:1–11 reminds us of the glory and majesty of the Lord.

We were encouraged to look at Job 38, where Job is confronted with the greatness of God and His authority over creation. Our response to a God so great should be a heart of worship and praise.

And then we come to the Lord’s Prayer:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name…” 🙌
It begins with the Father. It begins with praise. It begins with glory.
Prayer isn’t simply a checklist we rush through because we feel like we should pray. It’s an opportunity to be sincere, to open our hearts and connect with our Father in Heaven.

Rather than constantly looking at our sin and our shortcomings, let’s look to the Father. Look to His love. Look to His grace. Look to who He is.

❤️ He loves us so much.

We were reminded that the foundation of everything points back to Him — “In the beginning was the Word…” (John 1:1).
This Father’s Day, we also honoured our earthly fathers and were encouraged to pray for fathers in today’s culture.
Being a father isn’t always easy.

Husbands were blessed to love their wives as Christ loves the church — a blessed calling, but one that requires sacrifice, commitment and strength.

🙏 Let’s pray for our fathers.
🙏 Let’s pray for husbands.
🙏 Let’s pray for our pastors and leaders.
🙏 Let’s pray for the men leading their households.

We were reminded that Sabbath was created as a place to rest in Him, talk with Him and simply be with Him.

And perhaps the most beautiful reminder of all:
“Lord, You are Father to the fatherless. You are love.” ❤️
Whatever our earthly experience of fatherhood may look like, we can know the perfect love of our Heavenly Father.

Happy Father’s Day! 💙

💙 FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY | FATHERS OF THE FAITH 💙

What a wonderful Father’s Day Sunday morning at C3! 🙌

Isaac Poole shared an encouraging message on “Fathers of the Faith” — reminding us of the incredible impact one life surrendered to Jesus can have for generations to come.

One of the illustrations looked at the contrasting family legacies of Jonathan Edwards and Max Jukes.

Jonathan Edwards’ descendants were traced through generations, with 1,394 descendants recorded. Among them were 13 college presidents, 65 college professors, 30 judges, 100 lawyers, 60 physicians, 75 army and navy officers, 100 pastors and missionaries, 60 prominent authors, 80 public officials, 3 U.S. senators and 1 U.S. Vice-President.

In contrast, around 1,200 descendants of Max Jukes were studied, with the research recording 7 murderers, 60 thieves, 190 prostitutes, 150 other convicts, 310 paupers and 440 whose lives were severely affected by alcohol addiction. And not one descendent went on to graduate at any point in their lives.

The point wasn’t simply the numbers — it was the legacy of one life and the influence it can have on generations when surrendering your life to Jesus.

📖 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours…” — James 5:17
We were reminded of ordinary men like Brother Lawrence, who practised the presence of God throughout his day — living with a constant awareness of the Lord.

We heard about Curry Blake who discovered truth, believed God’s Word and began to live from that place of faith.

✨ Can we believe His promises?
✨ Can we take God at His Word?

📖 “He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” — 1 Corinthians 6:17
📖 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
📖 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” — Galatians 2:20
The challenge was powerful:
Stop trusting our own perspective of who we are, and start trusting God’s perspective of who He says we are.
We don’t have to do it in our own strength. God works through us. 🙏
“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” — Philippians 2:13
One person choosing Jesus can change a family tree. One generation can change the next.

What kind of legacy are we leaving?
What will our children, grandchildren and generations after us discover when they look back at our lives?

Let’s be fathers and mothers of the faith who believe God, live by His truth and leave a legacy that points generations to Jesus. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads! 💙

SUNDAY PM | PICTON 🙌

Isaac Poole challenged us with a powerful question: What does a mature Christian actually look like?

📖 From Acts 2, Acts 5 & Acts 8, we were reminded that the early Church walked in the power of the Holy Spirit, seeing signs, wonders, healing and lives transformed.

Maturity isn’t about doing more in our own strength—it’s about surrendering to Jesus and allowing His power to work through us.

🔥 God’s plans require God’s power.
So are we following Jesus, or trying to do it all ourselves? Are we letting Scripture shape our experience, or allowing our experience to shape what we believe?

“Nothing is impossible with God.” — Matthew 19:26

The challenge: What do you want written in your chapter of 2026? And what will 2027 look like?

Go back to the Word. Spend time with Jesus. Step out in faith. Make Jesus your target. ❤️

SUNDAY RECAP | BEN GREY 🙌
This Sunday, Ben reminded us that Christianity isn’t a religion—it’s a relationship. A relationship with our Father, and through Him, with one another.
📖 John 15:9–17 — We’re called to abide in Jesus, not simply read His Word but study it, live it and allow it to transform us. Jesus loved us first, chose us, and calls us His friends. When we lay down our lives in self-sacrificial love, we discover the fullness of His joy.
🙏 Prayer is an ally to Kingdom living.
In Matthew 6:9–15, Jesus teaches us to pray for God’s will, focus on our daily needs, forgive others, and surrender the outcome to Him. Prayer helps us release the weight of the past and the fear of the future and trust God with today.
🤝 God has given us allies.
Our pastors and leaders, our parents, and our brothers and sisters in Christ are all part of the Kingdom family. We’re not meant to do this life alone.
Mark 2 shows us the power of godly friendship—when one man couldn’t get to Jesus himself, his friends carried him there. Sometimes your faith will carry someone else, and sometimes you’ll need someone else to carry you.
The challenge this week: Who can you bless, encourage, forgive, pray for, or carry?
We are chosen. We are loved. We are called to live in relationship—with God and with each other. ❤️
“This is my command: Love each other.” — John 15:17
