🚨 Urgent Update 🚨

It is with careful consideration that we have decided to cancel tomorrow's service due to the incoming severe weather event expected to make landfall in Auckland shortly.

Auckland Emergency Services urges not to travel tomorrow unless absolutely necessary. Our desire is to keep our church whānau safe - this is our way of doing what we can to ensure that.

Please help us spread the message and let others know that we will not be having a service tomorrow.

The sermon for Sunday will be uploaded on Sunday morning to watch at 10am. Please visit www.beachbap.org.nz to watch the message.

How You Can Help:

- Check on others from church, supporting one another in this time is important. It's amazing what a simple phone call can do to boost someone's spirits.

- Pray for our country, especially those that will be affected by the storm.

Starting this Sunday!🌞

Throughout January, we’re running Summer Snacks Series — starting at 10am, it's a relaxed, 45-minute all-ages service with short, practical devotionals to help us start the year well. 👍

Our January 2026 series is “Healthy Habits for Your Year”, exploring simple rhythms that help us grow deeper in our walk with God — including discipleship, listening to God, Scripture, and sharing our faith.

Happy Sunday, Church! A reminder that there is no Sunday service in the building until 11th Jan. "Church" is the people, not the building & not the production. We pray you find peaceful times with our Lord in the ordinary bits of your Sabbath day & make opportunities to connect with others over this time.

Arotahi have prepared a lovely series of daily readings and devotionals for this time that some might enjoy:

Arotahi is the Missionary Society of the Baptist Union of New Zealand. They have created a prayer resource for the season of Advent. We will publish a week of readings at a time a few days before the week starts.

🎄 Christmas Day Service – 9am 🎄
Beachlands Baptist's Christmas Day service will be at 9am — a short and joyful, family-friendly gathering to celebrate Christmas together. All welcome - come as you are to enjoy a special time remembering the meaning of Christmas, sing some carols, and connect with friends. Of course there'll be mince pies as well! Merry Christmas!

Carols in the Park — this Sunday! Join us at 10am by the Log Cabin at Sunkist Bay for our annual Carols in the Park service. Expect carols with the choir, FREE tea & coffee, a sausage sizzle and mince pies. Bring a camping chair or picnic blanket, sunblock, water bottles, any other snacks you'll need to see you through the morning — and your best singing voice! All welcome! (If it's raining, we'll sing and celebrate at the church.)
