Beachlands Baptist Church www.beachbap.org.nz Beachlands Baptist Church was founded on principles of prayer, relationship and commitment.

Today these principles underpin all of what we do. Our vision is to be an authentic, growing, bible-centred, community church that is committed to serving others and seeing lives transformed by the encouragement and hope that is found in Jesus.

This past Sunday, we began our new series on The Community Practice from Practicing The Way.

Church is not just about a Sunday service, it's about doing life together in community. This series dives into what living in community looks like in the Christian faith.

If you haven't already, grab a free booklet from the café area this Sunday! This has an overview of each session, plus some questions for discussion in your Family Communities.

In light of our in-person service being cancelled due to Cyclone Vaianu, Michael Drane has kindly recorded his sermon for us as a church whānau to listen to online.

Michael Drane preaches on the First Commandment in Mark 12:28-34 and what it means to truly, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart."

🚨 Urgent Update 🚨

It is with careful consideration that we have decided to cancel tomorrow's service due to the incoming severe weather event expected to make landfall in Auckland shortly.

Auckland Emergency Services urges not to travel tomorrow unless absolutely necessary. Our desire is to keep our church whānau safe - this is our way of doing what we can to ensure that.

Please help us spread the message and let others know that we will not be having a service tomorrow.

The sermon for Sunday will be uploaded on Sunday morning to watch at 10am. Please visit www.beachbap.org.nz to watch the message.

How You Can Help:

- Check on others from church, supporting one another in this time is important. It's amazing what a simple phone call can do to boost someone's spirits.

- Pray for our country, especially those that will be affected by the storm.

Remember in an emergency, or if you are fearing for your life, please call 111.

Join us for a special time in our service today where we get to pray over all those heading back to school this year! Excitement is high but so are nerves and unknowns. How wonderful to know that our God goes with them and their loving community stands behind them? X

🌞 Summer Snacks at Beachlands Baptist
Starting this Sunday!🌞

Throughout January, we’re running Summer Snacks Series — starting at 10am, it's a relaxed, 45-minute all-ages service with short, practical devotionals to help us start the year well. 👍

Our January 2026 series is “Healthy Habits for Your Year”, exploring simple rhythms that help us grow deeper in our walk with God — including discipleship, listening to God, Scripture, and sharing our faith.

👉 This week, Meg is sharing on “Hearing from God.”

Come as you are, bring the whanau, and enjoy church that’s nourishing, bite-sized, and meaningful. 🍉✨
