Thanks Sueloa for organising a can collection for the Clutha Food Hub, at Catlins Area School. Students had a day out of uniform in exchange for a can, and collected three boxes of cans for us. Thank you all! 🥰

🏴‍☠️ AHOY, BALCLUTHA PRIMARY SCHOOL! 🏴‍☠️

A huge pirate-sized THANK YOU to the students, staff and families at Balclutha Primary School for holding a Dress Like a Pirate Day to support the Food Hub! 🏴‍☠️⚓

What a haul! You brought in heaps of cans and packs of Weet-Bix, which will help fill the shelves and make a real difference to local families. ❤️

We reckon there were some pretty fearsome-looking pirates roaming the school that day! 🦜☠️

Thanks for helping us keep our Food Hub treasure chest full! 🏴‍☠️💰

From all of us at the Clutha Food Hub — THANK YE MATEYS! ⚓

🥫 TOOT 4 TUCKER IS COMING! 🚗

Our big annual Toot 4 Tucker food drive is happening on Thursday 26 November, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us make it a success! ❤️

There are lots of ways you can get involved - whether you have a couple of hours to spare or can help out on the day.

📬 Flyer delivery – in the two weeks before the event
Help us get the word out by delivering Toot 4 Tucker flyers to letterboxes around the community. This is a great option if you can spare an hour or two and want to help from the comfort of your own neighbourhood. Toot 4 Tucker is held in Balclutha, Stirling, Kaitangata, Kaka Point, Owaka.... and other areas if we have collectors available.

🚗 Helpers on Toot 4 Tucker day – Thursday 26 November
We’ll need volunteers to help with collecting and sorting food donations, loading and unloading, and generally keeping things running smoothly.

🙌 Every bit of help makes a difference!

Toot 4 Tucker is the biggest food collections we run each year, and the food donated by our community helps support local individuals and whānau doing it tough.

Can you help?
Send us a message or get in touch with the Clutha Budget Advisory Service & Food Hub to put your name down.

Bring a friend, family member, workmate or your whole team — the more the merrier! 💚
