This morning we showed our MTC teaching staff this photo of the Savior and asked them to create an uplifting message to post online. Elder Bednar taught us to:

"Sweep the earth with messages filled with righteousness and truth. Messages that are authentic and edifying and praiseworthy and literally to sweep the earth as a flood."

How can you sweep the earth along with us today?

Please understand that the Missionaries are not carriers for your packages to take to any families or missionaries on the field. They only have enough kilos for their own things and are only allow to travel with their own missionary items. Please use the Post office to send your packages.Thank you

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO ACCESSING THE MTC:

Missionary Training Centre – Arrival Day 06th February,2020
There is no entry from the Redoubt chapel. Please make your way to the back of the MTC which is at the very end of Fairchild Ave, Goodwood Heights.
There is no entry into the MTC due to the Temple construction (Health & Safety).
Please have family say goodbye prior to dropping him/her off to the MTC as we will collect your missionary & bags at the back gate. Thank you

On Wednesday 04th December 2019 - in between intakes - there were only 12 missionaries enjoying breakfast together. Amazingly the 12 represented ten countries - our own little United Nations.

Crouching front row : Elder Bwaraaka (Kiribati), Elder Faalii (Samoa) and Sister Yu (Taiwan). The two lovely sisters in yellow are Sisters Fotu and Tu'ionuku (both from Tonga). The back row from left to right are Elders Ben Bennour (France), Bardsley (Australia), Aiho (Tahiti), and Sisters Olasa (Samoa), Sanchez (Colombia) and Oliveira (Brazil). The happy conversation at breakfast was all in English - a little miracle that we see often at the MTC as the missionaries work hard to perfect their common language.

Elder and Sister Rasband visits to our Missionary Training Centre on the 15th November 2019.
During the Devotional, Elder Ronald A. Rasband conveyed to the New Zealand MTC missionaries 2 important messages from our Dear Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson
1. We love you
2. We thank you
And which Elder Ronald A. Rasband added a third one
3. We need you.
He told the missionaries “We live in dangerous days, and we’re all going out to bring goodness to the world, to bring happiness, to bring joy and to help people find the covenant path”.
He encouraged the missionaries to “Go forth with a smile, look people in the eye, tell them why you are here”, and to “take it one day at a time, and you’ll see miracles happen in your life,” he promised.
